The advantage of this hotel is that it is right next to Tunjungan Plaza. So it's very easy to go to the mall. The rooms are also more spacious than other hotels for the same room type.I have suggestions for improvement:1. Looks like the hotel needs rejuvenation here and there. For example, the bath-up area is worrying, also the condition of the lifts which need to be improved in terms of cleanliness and speed of movement, including the toilets whose lids need to be replaced because they are stained.2. I moved the chair to be closer to the work desk. Actually, it was fine before. However, after I extended it, the chair was returned to its original position by hotel housekeeping when I was on Friday.Then I moved my chair back near the computer desk. What happened? My hand was hit by a nail that stuck out under the chair handle.The pain felt after a few hours. This is very dangerous for guests. Please use it as evaluation material.3. The condition of the prayer room for a hotel like the Tunjungan Hotel is very inadequate, especially if it is used for Friday prayers. Dirty, dirty carpet and hot prayer room with a whirring fan.4. Confirm reviews from our other friends. In my opinion, a 200K deposit is too much. When the hotels around don't charge, or if they charge only 50K, this is quite different from 200K. Even though there is ID information and guest telephone numbers, so you can chase them if there are "naughty" guests. Or maybe you can use "open transaction" with a card (like in LN), after checkout you can cancel it.5. The rules for placing guests at the work desk are also a bit excessive. The narrative is very concerned with the guest's behavior by highlighting the consequences of penalties for the guest.6. We ask that input from reviewers be responded to and followed up.Please follow up on these suggestions, so as not to reduce guests' interest in staying here.Thank You.

The place is nice right in the middle of Surabaya city, everywhere is close. Coincidentally, I ordered a large room with a view facing the main road. It doesn't have a scary impression, because this is an old hotel, but coincidentally there are only 2 electrical sockets in the room and the 1st one is broken. Hihihi

Not recommended for guests from outside the area... I checked in here already late at 14.30... But the receptionist said the room wasn't ready... even though the check-in time was 13.00... The room should have been ready before the guests arrived.

Hotel owners should carry out frequent inspections and should not accept ABS reports.Check the friendliness of the staff and conduct regular Excellent Customer Service training.Especially for security guarding the entrance, so they can learn to be friendly and humanize customers.Greetings, smiles and greetings are standard for service.Maybe hotel management can learn from BCA security, or even hire BCA security to replace security (read: thugs) at the Tunjungan Hotel.Thank You.

Strategic location and good service. It's just a shame that the available elevator capacity is not very large and quite slow, so several times I chose to take the emergency stairs. Unfortunately many of the facilities in the gym seem to be damaged, but the swimming pool is clean.

So sorry beforehand. I was forced to give a bad review because it was not satisfactory overall. Of the many staff I met, maybe only 20 percent were friendly and helpful, the rest were not pleasant at all. From the receptionist to the restaurant staff. Then for Gojek, which doesn't have access to the receptionist, it's very annoying, when you order Gofood you can only leave it in the basement, where I have a baby who is hard to leave behind. The elevator is also old and too old. A deposit of 200 thousand is also very expensive. Borrowing plates and spoons costs 20 thousand. Wth. There is also only 1 plug. The smell of the hotel and rooms is not pleasant. Just this once is enough to stay here.

22 June I ordered a non-smoking room because I was feeling unwell, but at this hotel there is no distinction between smoking rooms & non-smoking rooms.The non-smoking rooms are also on the floor with smoking rooms & smell strongly of cigarettes. When I complained, the receptionist curtly answered that I had been sprayed with Stella so it wasn't a problem.I called several times and complained to the Hotel Call Center, until finally I asked for a refund and left the hotel.Apart from that, the check-in process was also quite long, waiting more than 1 hour.Worst experience. Hopefully this doesn't happen to other customers.

Strategic location... right and left of the hotel is a big mall, just walk there... the crew is friendly, the security guard is also friendly and smiles a lot...deposit 200 thousand... when you check out you can take it back, the towels and pillowcases are no longer suitable for use in a 4 star hotel, they are dirty... you can check in around 1pm... if the room is ready...The size of the room is quite spacious... I traveled to Madura and around Surabaya... the hotel looked for a driver and car... very affordable costs... instead of looking for a driver outside, it's better to use the car that the hotel looked forFor the swimming pool there are 3 depths. 60 cm, 1.7 meters and 1.45 meters... for those who can't swim, they are worried about drowning... so it's not fun if you can't swimAs for the food menu, it's quite varied... and deliciousThe swimming pool is on the 7th Floor

Although it is in a good location, it was one of the dirtiest hotels I've ever been to. They said it was a 4 star hotel, but there's nothing that looks like a 4 star. There was a lot of cigarette ash and hair on the floor of my room. The room also smells kind of weird. The elevator was so old and the gap between the elevator and the floors is too big to be safe. The breakfast was nothing special except the fried rice.

I stayed here from out of town, knew about this hotel from a travel agent application. When we first arrived, the security guy was kind and friendly, the bellboy was nice. At checkout at dawn, Mr. Standbay security asked if I needed a vehicle, etc. When the vehicle I ordered arrived, he asked again to confirm the number plate politely, and helped carry my luggage. Thank you for the hotel service👍🏻🥰

To be totally honest.I would not stay here again.1. No bedside plug, only one in the whole room.2. TV did not work.3. Musty smell in the room.4. Pool is dirty.5. Pool lockers are seriously dirty and gotten6. My room backed onto the next buildings carpark.7. There's a night club that operates from 12 mid night to 6am at the same level as my room. Terrible sleep.8. I checked out the very next day.9. It's Star Rating needs to be certified, it's not even a single (1) star hotel.In summary, Avoid this hotel. You will be dissapointed. Plenty of better hotels with similar pricing in close proximity.
