A very cosy, comfortable and good value “inn” - misnamed as these are not “villas” but 8 individual, good sized rooms with ensuite (partly outdoor), which all look directly onto a shared central small pool. The bedrooms are fully air-conditioned with minibar and tea and coffee making facilities, and cable TV. Great large bed and nicely furnished. Quite a long walk to the beach - 10 -15 minutes to Selong Belanak- but so worth it - the best beach we came across on the island.The inn itself occupies a small plot with no real outside garden/space and the pool is shaded most of the day, which is fine. The cafe/restaurant is on the main road so a little noisy when eating breakfast, but the bedrooms are to the back of the property. Staff members were super friendly, efficient and helpful, and rooms were very reasonably priced including breakfast.Breakfast was tasty but you could only have one item off the menu, along with local coffee (you had to pay extra for specialist coffee, which was very good) or tea and mixed juice, whereas other places we have stayed also supplied a fruit platter along with chosen breakfast.We did not eat dinner here as not taken with the atmosphere - televisions playing sport and surfing programmes. There is a great place just across the road which we would highly recommend called Club Kembali…All in all, a lovely place to stay with good sized rooms and a nice pool to dip into immediately from your room. Good value for money and really friendly and efficient staff.

We had several meals here, and each dish was a delight, offering a perfect balance of local and international flavors.The spa is equally impressive, with a serene atmosphere and highly skilled therapists who really know how to help you unwind. After a long day of exploring, it was the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate.The service throughout the restaurant and spa was exceptional – friendly, attentive, and always with a warm smile. The staff really made us feel welcome and taken care of.The setting is beautiful too, with lush gardens and stunning views of the surrounding nature. Whether you’re there for a meal or a spa treatment, the peaceful ambiance adds to the overall experience.In summary, Bruga Villas Restaurant and Spa is a must-visit in Selong Belanak. Great food, a relaxing spa, and wonderful service – you won’t be disappointed!

We had the pleasure of staying at Bruga Hotel in April 2024, and it was an amazing experience! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, providing exceptional service. The hotel is great value for money, and the restaurant is fantastic. Would highly recommend getting breakfast included which had several options to choose from and were all delicious. We ended up eating lunch there too most days.The hotel itself is a lovely boutique property with a nice pool, and our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The quiet, calm atmosphere provided the perfect setting for relaxation. We also enjoyed renting scooters to explore the area. In fact, we loved it so much that we extended our stay! If you're looking for a peaceful place with fantastic service and value for your money, I highly recommend Bruga Hotel.

Positive: clean rooms, nice pool area, good WiFi, delicious breakfast, nice rooftop bar, happy hourNegative: Animals (rats?) on the roof at night (was very loud!), toilet flushes after use, which is very loud in the room, dark rooms, there is only instant coffee for breakfast (although there is a real coffee machine), Milk costs extra (very stingy!), a lot of mosquitoes in the room (got bitten in the night), staff speaks poor English, communication is complicated as everything has to go through the manager with a headset (we always knew to ask for some things twice), fully booked spa 2 days in advanceConclusion: Price performance is good, but there is still room for improvement!

The big breakfast was delicious the omelette was cooked to perfection, the service was great smiles all round :), Tari the supervisor is extremely well rounded and knowledgeable she is super happy and very humble ! Great work tari and the team at bruga
