Hotel Lumi Gili Trawangan

We stayed 4 nights at the Lumi Hotel in our own cabin and had a great time! The hut was really nicely furnished and clean. The breakfast was delicious and the service staff was more than friendly and attentive. We would book this accommodation again immediately!

We had the immense pleasure of hosting our wedding at this incredible resort in Indonesia, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. Coming all the way from Portugal, we had some concerns about planning such an important event from afar, especially given the cultural and logistical differences, but we were absolutely blown away by how perfectly everything turned out. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was going to be a magical experience for both us and our 30 guests, who also stayed at the resort—and loved every minute of it!A special thank you to Trisna, the amazing wedding organizer who made it all possible. Every single detail we asked for was delivered beyond our expectations. She created a seamless schedule, perfectly timed around the stunning sunset. Every request we made was honored with care and precision. We sent a few pictures for the decoration, and to our delight, the decoration team followed them exactly! The setting was everything we envisioned and more.We approached this wedding with some hesitations, knowing how difficult it can be to communicate from a distance, especially across different cultures. We thought things would inevitably go wrong or require compromises, so we didn’t even push to make things happen exactly as we imagined. But to our surprise, Trisna and her team took care of everything perfectly—without any additional effort on our part. From the beautiful flowers to the coconuts on the chairs by the beach, everything we asked for was executed flawlessly.One of the highlights was the singer, whom we had never even heard before the wedding. Trusting Trisna's recommendation, we took a chance, and he absolutely blew us and our guests away! Everyone kept asking, “Where did you find this singer?” He was beyond amazing. The food was another standout. Coming from Portugal, where we have a strong appreciation for great food, we were nervous about not having tasted the menu in advance. But wow, the dishes were phenomenal! All of our guests were equally impressed.On top of all that, the team at the resort made everyone feel welcome. We particularly loved that they joined in on the fun, making the celebration feel like a true party where everyone was included.If you're looking for a wedding venue and organizer, look no further. Trisna and her team are incredible, and you will not be disappointed.The only minor issue we had was the price of the drinks. Since we were all staying at the hotel, we felt there could have been better deals, as the cost of drinks, especially shots, was quite high. The hotel is very charming, especially the smallbungalows. The swimming pool area is nice and pleasant. The breakfast is delicious, there is a lot of choice at the buffet.On the other hand, we had a direct view of the island's landfill when we left the room. We also had the smells of the trash cans. It is imperative to put up fences because it is a big negative point...
