Homies Ratchada Hotel

Clean, cheap, close to the blue line and with an atmosphere that feels like coming home!My partner and I spent two weeks here over new years. We had the most wonderful experience travelling to Bangkok for the first time. Our landlady Koch made us feel like family during the whole stay. We went grocery shopping and cooked together, went for dinner at restaurants and jazz clubs. Also, the atmosphere in the accomodation is very warm and welcoming which made it easy to connect with other guests as well.When we first checked in to our room, we saw the lit-up sign outside the window. It read "Homies: come in as a guest, leave as family". On the last night, when we closed the window before leaving, I once again caught a glimpse of that sign and realised how true those words really are. I can't wait to stay at Homies again!

Very friendly owner and staff, P' Koch sometimes cooks for us and buys us food. The room is clean and cozy. Surrounding area is full of food and market, very convenient!

Homies had provided me with the best staying experience. Koch is always warm and caring. She also pays the effort on decorating the environment and making the place comfy. She is super friendly and supportive as well. Highly recommend Homies

I found this place while always walking down and entered there just for a coffee. I thought it was a cafe but the owner Koch was sooo nice to prepare me a coffee herself although they did not have such service. When i needed a place a few days later, i knocked their door again. I ended up staying there in the rest of my 2 months entire stay. Before proper details, i loved this hotel and its people❤️People: Koch the owner is a very sweet lady, always around to handle any of your questions or deal with any issues if there were any(in my case there weren’t any). She is very friendly. I am back in Europe and i am still in touch with her. Minnie and Ea(or only A, still not sure:) were the two amazing, sweetest hotel workers who kept everything extremely tidy and clean. They have been very helpful and cute.And Thorfinn, the hotel cat. We developed a great friendship, some nights he stayed in my room. He gave his friendship in return of some games and snacks.Overall, i am very happy to share time, food, communicate and be friends with Koch, Minnie, Ae and Thorfinn. I honestly loved you all guys.Location: The hotel is not in the heart of the center but in a close proximity. From the hotel you can walk to metro in approximately 3-4 minutes, take the metro and be in the center in a few stops. If you take a taxi, it would be quite cheap to travel anywhere from the hotel, but i suggest you to take metro or motorbike taxi due to the intense traffic of Bangkok. There is local bazaar, 7-11s, street food and other different cousine restaurants, KFC, cool cafes, bars, pharmacy(24 hours) very close to the hotel.Cleaning: Very clean! There is a common kitchen for visitors’ use, it was very clean around the clock. Rooms are tidy and cleaned daily by Minnie and Ea. Stairs, corridors, common terrace are also highly clean and tidy. Thorfinn is also very clean cat. He is regularly being cleaned and taken care of.Amenities: You have the basics in your room and they all work well. Proper air conditioner, hair dryer, 24 hours hot water, internet is stable and works well all over the building. In the kitchen you can use everything and it has anything that a kirtchen should have including microwave. There are proper washing machines(not those cheap ones) at the terrace. They are free to use. You can grab you pc and you can work in the lobby, in the kitchen table or in the terrace.Price: For the tidiness, location, cleannes and amenities, price is very very good!Plus you have this amazing staff where you will be welcomed very sincerely.Yes you are a visitor there but these people will give you their hospitality that they give to the people that come their own houses.I simply loved it guys. I spent my 2 months in this hotel. When i went to other cities, they kept my extra luggage and i returned back. I worked in the common spaces and spend my time with the staff, ate lunch together, shared fruits and drinks. It was just lovely!

Good place to stay in Bangkok. I've been here three times and every time everything was great. Suitable for both short and long term stays. A very cozy lobby on the ground floor, there is a kitchen with many cooking appliances. My room had a refrigerator and a desk, and the air conditioning was clean, which is rare in my travel experience. The metro is about a 7 minute walk away and there is also a market where you can buy food, drinks and more. The district has at least 5 supermarkets, pharmacies, coffee shops, hairdressers, in general there is all the necessary infrastructure. Another plus I would like to note is the presence of a washing machine on the roof (you can use it for free), and of course, the staff is beyond praise, everyone is very kind and helpful, I felt at home.

The room wasn’t as pictured in more ways than one, the bed was extremely firm, borderline solid I ended up booking a new place after the first night of being there. It’s also multiple flights of stairs that you have to take your luggage up. The lady had very poor communication with me often leaving my message on read and then only responding when I follow it up a second time. Wouldn’t recommend

Excellent guest house, very clean and cozy. The owner is the friendliest girl I've ever met. She constantly treated us to coffee and breakfast, it was a pleasure to talk to her.
