Fabulous small hotel. Made to feel part of a family from the minute we arrived. Excellent location, just a short wall from the husle and busle of main streets. The owner will assist with all your travel requests from the best surfing beaches, bars, restaurants, and trips.

Beautiful rooms with nice garden area, friendly local staff. Too bad the owner is trying to rip people off and then lies when you leave an honest review. Be careful when you book here!!!

The location might not be ideal for everyone but it was for us, slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of the center, yet only a 20 minute walk away.Dino, the owner, made us feel at home right away. He's quick with a joke and a great source of information about all things south lombok and especially the local surf. He's out surfing every morning on his SUP (nobodys perfect I guess).The room was very comfortable, well equipped with sockets for charging, and all the usual amenities. It was quiet when we needed it to be. Lombok is booming, there's construction everywhere, including near this place. That is a temporary situation, out of the hotels control, and probably affects most accommodation within striking distance of Kuta Lombok. Like every place we've been in Indonesia, including the mostly Christian island of Flores, you're going to hear the Muslim call to prayer. If it's a big deal for you, Indonesia will be hard going.The pool is a decent size and we used it a lot.Breakfast was substantial and tasty.I'd definitely stay here again.

Nice place but set back from the beach (motorcycle essential)Too much construction work around the hotel, so noisy and early wake up!Willing employees but with a certain lack of professionalism.Conclusion, a little expensive for this accommodation.To return there, I will go to the surroundings of Kuta beach.

The Drift is a real paradise for everyone who doesn't like large hotel bunkers. It has only 5 rooms, a pool and a beautiful garden with lots of greenery. The rooms are modernly equipped and we felt very comfortable here from the first moment. We particularly liked the small kitchen, which we were allowed to use if necessary. We made ourselves a shake every day with the blender, which we really appreciated. The breakfast was also very good, because instead of normal toast there was delicious bread and even Nutella 😀! Unfortunately, there is a lot of construction going on on the street at the moment, so construction noise cannot be ruled out. After initial concerns, it wasn't that bad after all... but you should know (as of April 2024)!The Drift was a wonderful accommodation that I can only recommend to everyone 😍!

Best place to stay in Lombok! Great value and so worth the price. They have amazing breakfast and great pool to chill. It's pretty much quiet but not far from the centre, just a short drive to the central area and the beach. Deano is the best host too as he will assist in every way and made me feel at home. Truly a gem to find in Lombok👌🏼

We stayed our entire holiday in Lombok at Drift Hideaway and we couldn’t have chosen a better spot. The owner Dino made us feel like home from the minute we arrived. Always a nice chat, a good laugh and great advice which places to discover. With only a few rooms, a beautiful garden and a refreshing swimming pool (which are greatly taken care of) Drift Hideaway is the ideal place to relax. Dino and his wife opened the place quite recently, so everything is very new and clean. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms are beautifully decorated. After a good nights sleep, we enjoyed to have a swim in the pool and the delicious breakfast (fantastic fruit platter and a couple of breakfast options to choose from). Dino organised a scooter for us as soon as we arrived. Also booking surfing lessons was easy. We loved that Dino and his wife chose glass bottles for water, which could be refilled any time, instead of putting plastic bottles in the rooms in order to avoid trash. Drift Hideaway is located only 3 minutes away by scooter from the main road of Kuta where you can find many restaurants, bars and shops. The morning of our departure Dino came by early to say good-bye - great hospitality! If we come back to Lombok, we will definitely stay at Drift Hideaway again.

A litle paradise in Kuta Lombok! Beautifull garden and pool, very spacious and confy room with choice of aircon or fan, great bathroom and shower. Everything done with great taste, and Dino the owner does everything to make you feel welcome! Couldn't reccomend it more, hope to be back!

What a great experience it was to stay at Drift Hideaway! The place is very clean, well furnished, beautiful gardens, new buildings, nice hot shower and a big swimming pool. This slice of paradise is very well looked after by the staff and the owner which I had a pleasure to meet. Deano, thank you very much for the hospitality, we will definitely come back again next holidays.

Deano and Kylee have created a beautiful oasis hidden away just a short distance from downtown Kuta Lombok. I had fantastic time chilling out at Drift in between surf sessions, massages and tasty meals. The service was exceptional from the all the Drift crew who could sort out everything you need for a great holiday experience.

Drift hide away bungalows have been recently built and is in a beautiful relaxing safe environments, Deano our hosts has extensive knowledge of the area including places to go and surfing locations,he also made our stay a lot easier by arranging motorbikes for us to use when we arrived and also has supps and surfboards available, breakfast in the morning was beautiful

A magnificent place to stay. Luxury villas of brand new construction nestled in the backstreets of the heart of Kuta Lombok. Stylish, clean and well furnished, boasting an oasis like pool in pristine gardens, modern facilities and a relaxing outdoor eating/lounge area, it was all that could have been hoped for. Well managed with owners and staff who take the stress of unknowns away and provide seamless transitions from comfortable stays to outgoing adventures. Highly recommended for the keen surfers and easy going travellers alike. Thank you we will be back !!

What an awesome end to my travels. Cannot thank Kyle and Wayne enough for their warm hospitality. It's really been a pleasure. I arrived as a client and feel like I am leaving friends behind. Would recommend Drift to all. A beautiful oasis just 5 minutes from town. Has an assortment of SUPs for hire and will point you in the right direction regarding waves on the day.Thanks guys.:)Can't wait to return

Absolutely perfect in all respects. Dean and Kylie are fantastic hosts.Nothing was too much and we definitely weren’t the easiest guests they have had.The accommodation is super clean and extremely comfortable.We had a fabulous time meeting and mixing with other guests. We ended up going on several stand up paddle adventures with Deano and other guests staying at Drift. Dean is extremely competent as a waterman and his local knowledge is gold. Nothing was too much, renting boards, organizing transport and guiding us on surf excursions.We are so excited to come back and spend more time.We arrived as clients and before we knew it we were friends.Location is absolutely perfect, 5 minute walk from the main town but still in a lovely quiet space. The garden and pool are just perfect to chill after a day of waves. We had a great bbq and the food was delicious.Thank you guys, can’t wait to be back.

Stayed at Drift after a recommendation and were so glad we did. The place is super clean and comfy. The pool and garden are a beautiful oasis to relax in after a day out. Located centrally in Kuta we had access to everything without fuss. Deano was a great host and had all the info on where to go and when for surfing due to his local knowlwdge. We did a few fun day trips with him full of light-hearted banter and laughter. Met a few other stand up paddle surfers, short and longboarders from many different parts of the world who are now friends due to the fun we had on his tours. Will definately be back.

if you’re planning a surf trip and hit Lombok, go to @oceancoastsup at @drifthideaway. You won’t be disappointed. Transfers, scooters, food, facilities, boards, stellar guide, great rooms and legit the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on anywhere in Indonesia. Mr Deano has you sorted. Already booking in again for a few months time as there’s only 5 rooms and available windows are getting smaller and smaller. Get on it 🤙

You can quickly get to the center of Kuta and still have a cozy retreat in the countryside. We loved the beautifully landscaped garden and pool!The bathroom is huge and the beds are very comfortable.Thanks Wayne for the great hospitality!
