What a great experience! I found this hotel on Google and I really like their kakaban villa. It’s really chilling to sit on the balcony and watch the sea after diving every day. The resort took good care of us. The professional DM and diving center manager helped us make a good diving plan. We saw scenery at different locations that we didn't have anywhere else. The food is also delicious, especially the seafood porridge in the morning, squid and grilled fish in the evening. There is a different soup every day. Because the resort does not accept over-bookings, there are not many guests, so you can enjoy your diving vacation more comfortably.

We did spend lovely 6 days there at the beautiful, charming and very welcoming Sienna resort. The main reason was diving which was just great, very nice dive crew, great boat and stunning dive sites.The water villa we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and the surroundings very quiet.The staff at the resort and restaurant was creating us a wonderful time there - great food and hospitality!Thanks to all the staff of Sienna resort and the dive centre - I hope to be able to come back sometime in the future!

I really love the setting of the places, the manager Mr.Wawan is so courteous and friendly, all the staffs are friendly and accomodating, foods taste very good, mostly we have nice fresh fish everyday, vegetable, soup and dessert. Beautifull place either for diving and all the Maratua island can offer or even just enjoy the resorr, sit back and relax, with beautiful.and lush bougenville and others flowers. Love it. The lobby lounge and breakfast place is huge and airy. Overall we have fantastic time at Sienna Resort just ashamed that we only stayed for short period. Thank you for Mr.Wawan and all the staffs that make our stayed so memorable and pleasant.

What a wonderful place! It takes a while to get there but it is absolutely worth it. Beautiful rooms and friendly, helpful staff.The tours are well organized with skilled guides. A pleasure to stay here!

We stayed at Sienna resort for 5 days, took the full board ALL IN package where it includes accommodation, transport, food and trip. Here's my personal review.The PLUS of Sienna:- the resort is TOP notch, we stayed at Sangalaki, it fits 2 family (8 pax) to sleep spaciously, bathroom is clean, hot water available, AC is excellent.- the dive centre is new and fully equipped with a good speedboat available for trips- the FOOD is great, and we get to try local seafood at additional price. It's so nice to not to worry about meals, everything is provided and fresh too.- the service is great. The sienna team is very friendly and helpfulWhat can be improved:- the facilities they have on the island is limited such as billiard table, bicycle, forest trekking. I think they can offer more facilities maybe massage?- Communication can be improved. The team informs us our daily activities, but i think providing more details such as additional option for trips / dive sites will be valuable- we were picked up by a local speedboat, the driver took some time to fetch us from the airport, but once we get to the resort everything was handled well.- wifi is limited. I personally have no problem with this, but for people who works this may be an issue.Overall we had a really memorable time in SIENNA, if you come as a family/ group and you seek a comfortable stay go for this. Expect to spend plenty of hours in the sea throughout the day. We got to swim with whalesharks, sea turles, and dolphin watching. It was an incredible holiday. I'm sharing some of the videos on Instagram @louisa_kus . I'm open to share any more information for those seeking to come to Maratua.

A very beautiful and clean resort, with satisfying service, friendly staff, delicious food... thank you to Mr. Hanafi who has arranged my family's holiday and Mr Ryan Bajau (tour guide and dive master) who accompanied us during 5D4N and ensured that our family was safe, comfortable and all destinations could be achieved.A very memorable holiday.Thank you Sienna Resort for your excellent services.

Came here a few months ago, really relaxing resort 🥰👍... really suitable for those who like a calm atmosphere, calm blue sea and gentle breeze 🥰.The distance is quite far, about 3 hours by speedboat from Berau port (Sanggam tourist pier).. but all the tiredness is paid after arriving at the location 🥰🌴.View 👍, service 👍👍, cleanliness 👍👍, food 👍👍👍.For food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) the choices are not very varied... but everything tastes delicious 🥰🥰❤️❤️ I really like it... all the dishes served taste great 😁👍👍It's just a shame that on this island we can't swim freely in the villa area, because of the large number of stingrays 😕 ... but even so, it's also fun to see stingrays directly from the villa balcony 😁 .. a unique experienceOh yes, for the provider with the best signal here, it's only Telkomsel... Indosat and XL have a lot of blanks 😁...

Lovely spot - we spent last Christmas there. Very serene and quite location, with a beautiful view, and easy access to snorkeling and diving. Stuff and our snorkeling guide were kind and helpful. Looking forward to come back :)

A right place to escape a while from the world's business 😁In Sienna, we could relax our mind by enjoying Maratua Island Panorama., there's a spot to enjoy the sunset, and also you can enjoy the sunrise from the Kakaban Villa Balcony, Restaurant, Sangalaki Villa balcony, or just take a small step to the small island nearby the Sangalaki Villa.Near by the sunset spot, you can use Cano for free. The best time is about 4p.m when the water is going up around the island.Clean, comfortable rooms with an affordable price and their staff hospitality will make u enjoyable.The food served was really important to boost your mood. Never skip their food although it once! Lol 😂Remember that Sienna is an island inside the island 🏝️. So, prepare everything before you turn around Maratua since we need a boat pick up from the port.Anw, they also provide the airport pick up. So, don't worry to reach the Hotel. Furthermore, there are several tour packages that can be chosen to travel around Maratua including snorkeling and diving.See u again Sienna!!

The resort is located on a small private island in the middle of Maratua Island, so you can enjoy your vacation quietly.There are many facilities you can get for free such as canoeing, biking, tracking, karaoke, playing billiards and snorkeling(around the resort).You can go snorkeling, diving and fishing too, there is a trip package for private or groups so you don't have to worry about your vacation trip there.If travel packages are too expensive for you, you can just explore Maratua by yourself too. Just tell the staff that you want to go to the Maratua mainland, they will take you to the other side.All the food here is very delicious and suits our taste. The resort staff is very friendly, humble, and the service is good.One of our best vacations.Thank you Sienna Resort Maratua, see you again...

Sienna resort was gave the perfect experiences when my group trip to derawan-maratua. The food was excellent, the room was specious and clean, the ambience was perfect. They brought us bbq night on day 1 and 3, the foods comforting me well especially the sashimi. Oh my gosh !! You need to try. Me and all of my friends also my boss enjoyed our stay at Sienna. Thank you so much for your great service while our stay.. im very enjoyed the yoga moment while sunrise and canoe moment while sunset. Unforgettable.
