Our group of 12 stayed here for 6 days and 5 nights for a dive trip! The owners Grace and Steven were very hospitable and graciously helped us when we faced any problems. The dive guides were also very knowledgeable and friendly, they were able to show us the real diversity in marine life of derawan and neighbouring islands. The trip was very memorable and I would highly recommend Derawan Dive Lodge to everyone :))

This was an amazing place just on and over the beach of Derawan Island. We were here for a 6d5n diving trip, and were warmly greeted and hosted by Grace, Steve, and the rest of the DDL team.Throughout our stay we were very well taken care of, from feeding us with amazing food (Grace is an amazing cook and baker who baked fresh pastries every single day!) to bringing us to amazing dive sites and making sure our surface intervals were comfortable and enjoyable, this place truly made our trip a great one. You could see many turtles and even guitar fish just along the jetty of the resort.The rooms and facilities were not perfect but are spacious, clean, and with hot water. Grace and team were always ready to go out of their way to ensure that comfort is ensured. Would definitely recommend this experience to divers and all who are looking for a tropical paradise experience. Will hope to be back one day myself!Thank you Grace, Steve, and the lovely DDL team!!

Grace and her Husband are extremely guest orientated.. my bungalow over the water was 100% my idea of heaven. view during the day was great and lying on deck looking at the stars at night was perfection..Grace is also a great cook, Grace the steak and ayam the last night were greatly appreciated..ENAK ,i also enjoyed sitting and talking to you !!thank you for a wonderful stay..Very Glad Merry took me there.Tom

One of the beach style accommodations that I recommend. The area is not very large but we felt at home while there even though the atmosphere was busy with visiting guests who wanted to dive. Zus Grace and Brother Steven as business owners immediately jumped into serving the guests' needs. Zus is a cooking expert. Typical Manado menu + seafood + various snacks, cakes, homemade bread is a winner 👍🏻 Scarcity of raw materials is not an obstacle for Zus Grace. Brother Steven as diving instructor. Both of them are very humble, helpful and informative. The staff are the same way. The views are amazingly beautiful here. The beach water is clear with coral, white sand and various types of fish. Occasionally small stingrays and large turtles can be seen. The rooms are okay too. There is a knockdown wooden house from Manado. The PLN electricity is still bad. Please understand because the location is on the island. Also, Indihome's internet connection is having problems. The telephone signal is good on Derawan Island. Furthermore, we learned many valuable lessons from the tenacity of Zus Grace and Brother Steven when pioneering and managing DDL amidst the ups and downs of the tourism industry. Pakatuan pakalawiren for all who serve in DDL ❤Additional info: outside the resort area, there is a Bajau residential area. We can look around while walking. Shops and bicycle rental are also available

We spent a week here and enjoyed several macro dives where we found a good variety of small critters and came across many, many huge turtles happily swimming along and most unbothered by our close proximity.  …

Came here for diving with a preorganized group. Hospitality and service was so good. Grace baked fresh pastries for us daily, accommodated all our requests. Rooms are clean, have hot running water and AC, multiple plug points. Food is very good for the limits of what island living can provide. Most of all we would really like to emphasise the sincerity and warmth with which Steve, Grace and the rest of the team extended to us. Priceless.
