What a great location, Jalan Bisma is our new favourite spot in Ubud Centre. Quiet at night, lovely lane that has now evolved a bit more with great affordable and excellent mix of cafes, restaurants, little shops etc. We loved our Stay at Sari Bungalows, room pretty newly renovated, new style rain shower etc, great water pressure, nice wide covered tiled deck area with chairs/table, long sideboard in room works well as a writing desk, offer jug/tea/coffee/fridge which for their prices is good value. Owned by a balinese family, the two young guys make an epic breakfast, see photos. They serve to you on your deck, no communal area for breakfast, but we are totally ok with that. Have been to Bali for 25 years, and must say these are the best pancakes we have ever had, with wonderful fruit topping. Generous plate of mixed fruit, their creative plate presentation showed us they cared about their task. Swimming pool gets sun, sunloungers, water fresh but great on a hot day. We even got a car park, as travelled by vehicle so they were accommodating to keep all the motorbikes to one side of the front area so we could park up. Definately will stay here again !! Can highly recommend if you are looking for a good value stay, and want to be able to walk to very centre of ubud on foot, or short scooter ride, or get a driver to pick you up right at your accommodation, this is a great spot.

2 rooms reserved for 4 adults on January 4 for 3 nights and on our arrival... only 1 room was allocated to us with a real bed and a single floor mattress for our 2 teenagers of 1m85.No choice, we spent the first night there and looked for what we could find at the last minute.Sari bungalow ruined our start to the holiday...To flee !!!

We booked a room almost 6 months in advance. We saw the pictures online and it looked good.However, during our trip we got delay. We tried everything to get in contact with this accommodation. But there was nothing to find online, no email, no working phone number, nothing. It took a week when Agoda finally responded with a private number of the owner.Then when we arrived, the staff (who barely speak English) took us backwards to our room. This is the room with the noisy street and you hear the rats on/in the roof. Is was not the room as promoted at the pictures by the pool and garden. We asked if it was possible to get an other room. First it was possible for the next night. The next day it was suddenly not possible anymore. A lot of mis-promises and disappointing with our stay.

Just arriving they put us in a room away from the others. It was old, dirty and full of insects. The worst thing was hearing rats walk on the ceiling. We asked the guy who worked there to see if he could move us and he told us no, that the rats thing was normal because they had the kitchen next door. Obviously we couldn't stay, let alone think that breakfast the next day would be there. Terrible experience.

Very well located and friendly staff. Will help you to rent scooters and book your next trip (although misunderstanding and gave us wrong price for trip to Nusa Penida). Room was big and clean, a bit dated but does the job. Pool was refreshing. Breakfast was OK.

Price-wise it's really great. The room/bathroom is all a bit more primitive and you pay for that. It sometimes smelled like a sewage smell in the bathroom and the room was quite noisy. You could hear the traffic along the road, the neighbors and the cook well in the morning. Not all of the employees speak English and that is sometimes quite difficult when something is asked or needed. By the way, they are very friendly and are happy to help you. The location is very central and that is very chill. And it's clean, that's important too!

I absolutely love waking up in heaven. This is my favourite place I’ve stayed in Ubud! I love it so much I booked for almost two months. It is peaceful, tranquil and surrounded by greenery. They clean the room every day and do a really good job. The breakfast comes every morning to your room and it feels so nice and relaxing. The staff are so kind and always helpful. I am so glad I found this place, it’s made my time in ubud beautiful.

Good atmosphere, there is a swimming pool, strategic locationbut…If you expect a pool in front of your bedroom, you might be disappointedI ordered a room via the application, but when I checked in at 2PM the room was not ready and I had to waitThe location of my room is at the back, quite farthe staff is less communicative, seems rushedthe room is nice, but the bedroom light doesn't work well and neither does the bathroom lightthe pillowcase may or may not be replaced because of the slobber smellthe smell of the descaling cleaner was very strong, it could be smelled throughout the roomFor breakfast, maybe it's better if you buy it at the nearest restaurantBreakfast seemed rushed, bad experience

The room becomes muddy & dirty every time you leave the bathroom because a doormat is not provided. Likewise, there is no doormat provided at the front door. Actually the place is nice, but because of a small thing (there is no doormat) it becomes less comfortable to be here

Rooms were ok, but could have been cleaner (beard residue on the sink, sand in the corners). Towels only arrived 3 hours after check-in, hardly any communication possible in English…but cheap

At the beginning of arrival the receptionist was not on standby in the lobby...For a good room, it's just that the bathroom floor looks dirty in the drain area, the bathtub isn't clean, the bathroom lights aren't bright enough, there are 2 lights, one of which is dead but the bulb hasn't been replaced. Likewise, the kitchen sink was clogged, cutlery such as plates, glasses, spoons and forks were not provided, and mineral water, coffee and tea were not provided. Even though in the description of the facility there is a refrigerator, but in reality it isn't. There is no TV available either. For breakfast, it's not very satisfying... Only 1 bread, fresh juice without sugar, but it doesn't taste fresh, maybe it's mixed with water. Ordered a quiet room but got a room with another room above, at night the guests in the rooms above were very noisy when moving chairs and doing activities.

Our room was at the back of reception down an alley way and when you went up the stairs you had to duck under power lines. Was pretty much just a room with a bed. Had to ask for: toilet paper, towels and soap. There was no water in the rooms. The shower was broken and when I said it to them they said they would fix it when we leave??? We were waiting for breakfast and their family came down after us so they cooked their food first. When I asked them about the water they served us they said it was tap water also. Good location and that's about it
