Great place and good vive. New place if youβre in kuching. Only downside is too crowded during school holiday.Bbq place facility is upsetting. When it rain, you cant move your bbq as the weld it to the floor. Basically making a steamboat.

During my visit on 30/8/2024, the location is under renovation and construction. The beach is closed to public due to the construction.

First of all, the bed is of poor quality & bedbugs, and there are a lot of mosquitoes at night. It was not worth the money. Additionally, the shower and bathroom did not provide a complete set of amenities.

Roxy Sematan Villa offers a fantastic location, strategically positioned beside the beach, making it ideal for enjoying quiet moments and breathtaking sunsets and sunrises. The effort by the Roxy group to keep the beach clean and enhance the facilities is commendable. However, the room facilities and cleanliness fall below expectations, which detracts from the overall experience. Improved customer service and better room conditions would significantly enhance the stay and lead to a higher rating. Despite these shortcomings, the hotel's beautiful setting remains a highlight.

The villa is located at the walking distance to the beach, just the road have some broken glass, so not recommended to walk barefoot. The sea water is blue. The beach is clean. There are some construction on going. ATV cost rm 50 for 15 mins, bicycle is available for rm 10 per hour if not mistaken. However the area of riding is limited to beach area only. There are a mini market, steampot shop, bistro, and cafe nearby. The breakfast is normal, bread, rice, mee, sausages, eggs, porridges, cereals and drinks

Not a bad stay overall. The room was spacious and clean. However the toilet reeks of cigarette smell (not the hotel fault). The beach is a stone throw away. Pool is clean and kid friendly. Staffs were friendly too. Restaurants, bars and a hhpermart is nearby (Roxy Apartment). Great place to stay if you can book it. Constantly full during peak seasons. So book early.

A bit far away from the breach. just a normal breakfast, due to it open space for breakfast so sometime the birds will catch the remaining food stains at the spoon ., a bit unhygienic.
