For what we paid I can say that the stay was quite satisfactory. Not the cleanest bathroom in the world but it is what it is mate. The guy at the reception was always super friendly and very helpful!

Good location , it’s quiet and so close to the center . I like this kind of hostel . No too much people but enough to make good connections . The 2 guys who work their have always the smile , they are nice . I will come back

Very good and social hostel :)Not the cleanest (bed sheets and towels were a bit smelly) but i don't wanna complain for 6€/nightpool was very clean though and the staff was very nice and helpful

I don't recommend this place. The guy who serves is good. But it's a shame the owner is so unpleasant. He made both me and my partner feel uncomfortable all the time. I also had a problem, I lost something important, which luckily they found and returned to me at a restaurant. But that made me arrive an hour late to check out and the owner decided to charge me for half the day, even knowing that I had had a problem and having free beds. I would never return to his business after seeing his lack of humanity and bad vibes.. I also take this opportunity to report that there is a review mafia in Bali and they pay to have good reviews. My partner preferred to go to another hostel because the facilities were not what they appeared on the website and they did not want to refund our money. At night we saw rats in the kitchen. Be careful with this place

Cool hostel in a good location.The service is good, the pool and grounds are cleanThe rooms are very simple and OK for the priceThere's a lot of catching up to do in the bathroom, where you have to be pain-free.

The service was nice and the dorm also but the bathroom was sooo disgusting ! I said that to them and they seem surprised. I think nothing had never been clean. The dirt was there since a long time.

i booked a room before i arrive to Bali, i faced troubles in airport and for this reason i send an email to hotel to change date of my arrive to the hotel, the hotel refused give a room and they took my money because i paid online, thier excuse was that they did not receive an email from me!! , which the i took the email from the same app that i booked a room! . in the end i lost my money. ! Just be carful and you try to not pay online to them at all to avoid to be in same situation that i have been in.

The reception was very nice. But I really don't understand why the rating is so high?1. The room is not like the photos. The room is dirty and dark, and the path leading to the room is full of moss and caterpillars. It's better to sleep under the bridge.2. I closed the cabinet when I went out, but when I came back I found it was open and something had been moved.3. If you can't ride a bike, it's best not to book here. The road is very narrow and it's dangerous to walk on the road.I didn't stay there at all. I found another place to stay, the price was similar, and the environment and hygiene were much better than here.

Pictures say 1,000 words. This was my first ever hostel!!! What a great experience. I made so many new friends, the owners and staff treat you like family. I was only suppose to stay in Canggu for a week, but I enjoyed it so much. I ended up staying here for an additional week. For the people that have negative reviews, let me clarify some things. This is not a 5 star villa, but it is affordable with a 10 minute walk to the beach. If you want to feel fancy, then ask for room/house number 6. It has a private bathroom and the room is up to date. It’s a little more pricy, but that’s how you will have your 5 star villa experience. Also if you want less or no bugs in your room make sure to close the door and tell your roommates to do the same. I was in room/house number 3 and had no bug issues. I would constantly close the door and remind everyone to do the same. The AC at least in my room was amazing for those super hot days. Bathrooms can use a little work, but the smell came from the people who stayed at the hostel. I remember waking up at 8am every morning after partying to go to the gym. I would see either throw up or the toilet not flushed in the men’s bathroom, which left from the night before. Obviously I flushed, but some of the comments I’ve read are not accurate. As far as peace and quiet, this is not the spot as the staff loves to entertain everyone and ensure everyone has a great experience. For anyone looking to stay at a place in Canggu The Commotion in Canggu is the spot to be. As you won’t only get a party life, but you will also see mountains, sun rise, sun set waterfalls, monkeys, new beaches, local food, and learn how not to get ripped off in Canggu/Bali. Just make sure to ask the owners and staff questions. They can arrange anything and if they don’t know the answer, they will find it. I’m going to miss my Canggu family! I’ll be back next year. Thank you guys again for an amazing experience.

Maybe the friendliest and best hostel I’ve stayed at! It’s extremely welcoming and social, going above and beyond, to include everyone and taking us guests for great nights out, to the best food spots and for sunset swims in the sea. There is free flow cocktails many nights. The rooms are very comfortable, cool and clean for sleeping. I made many friends here. All in all it is an A+ hostel.

Good location for where I needed to be, toilets and showers need a bit of TLC but can be dealt with, only major thing that ruined the owner.. turned out to be a thief of personal possessions . For this reason, I will most likely not be returning, which is a shame.
