Clearly the worst Airbnb I have encountered.BEWARE SCAMAfter chatting for a while with the host, Andi, personalized services were arranged with the latter in order to make this stay unforgettable, romantic dinner, red wine... Everything was organized. After days or even weeks of radio silence, it seems that the host waited for our arrival to tell us that everything is canceled. In addition, to try to keep his promises (or keep his wallet in shape), he offered us an alternative which would cost more than €100. And to compensate for his lack of honesty, he offered to bring in a drone to get panoramic images (???). This should have been an unforgettable moment for us and it was, because this accommodation was clearly abandoned. No wifi, no hot water, not maintained. With such a price, we expect to have at least a decent welcome and service. In addition, the host does not send English-speaking staff (probably to be sure not to be disturbed by complaints). The only way to eat nearby is a small local restaurant, which is very good and very welcoming. After talking with them it seems that we are not the first prey of this anarchist, it turns out that several groups of people ran away from the house to have even something to wash themselves. And like us, they were taken in the very evening of our arrival by this restaurateur with a big heart named Arta. If you still decide to book in this mediocre establishment, refer to Arta rather than Andi. And if you really like the rice fields and the place, prefer the restaurateur's accommodation. We thank Airbnb for partially refunding the stay but despite everything it has no business on this site and even less at this exorbitant price.

I liked the villa. Two floors of open space, with everything you need to stay.We stopped for the nightBut the cafe nearby was closed. For dinner and breakfast only beer and rice chips. All.At the second moment. Well, honestly, why the hell post photos of a young lady bathing? You can only get warm water up to your ankles. That's all the fun.Otherwise I liked the villa. And I'm glad I chose it for the night.

The villa sits in the beautiful countryside of Bali. The view is amazing. You can see and hear the wildlife. Having no walls this is indeed an experience.Price-wise I‘d rate the villa not so well. The accessories and equipment are pretty much worn down. Not even the right amount of cutlery or a proper pot are at hand. Looking at a price of over 200€/night you could expect a proper equipped kitchen and I’m not talking about mixers and ovens but just the basic stuff as four spoons, four knives and four forks. Wouldn’t it have been for the view and the overall experience I’d go Lowe than three. Definitely a missed experience

Andi is one of the nicest guys on our trip to Bali. He drove us 1 day to various locations and did some cool drone shots with us. The Bamboo house is also a very unique place to stay. Highly recommended 👌

Best home & greatest owner in Bali! He spent two days with us and was the best experience. He's a nice, sweet and helpful guy, careful and never nosy. The house is new and amazing, details are tidy. Location is the best one: you can be comfortable in the middle of the rice field, with all tools you need to have a great time. Mosquito nets are around the bed. The bathroom will make you speechless.Few meters from the bamboo house there is a cafe-restaurant and is owner Arta is a great person, so sweet and helpful too.A place to visit ❤️

The location of the bamboo house is amazing, it’s perfect to escape from the tourism in South Bali. Just you and the nature. You can watch the wildlife and hear the sounds auf the animals and the waterfall behind the house. The bamboo house ist very impressive, you can see that it’s build with much love and creativity. It’s very clean and well maintained. I felt very comfortable there. Although it’s in the middle of ricefields, there aren‘t many Moskitos. The hammock invites to relax, watch the nature or read a book. I could lay there the whole day.Andi is the best host I ever had. The bamboo restaurant was closed, so I texted him to ask for another possibility to get some food near the bamboo house. We had no car or scooter so he picked us up and drove us to a restaurant to eat with us. It was a nice evening with great conversations and many informations about Bali. Andi is friendly, helpful and very courteous. And in case you don’t know what to do in Bali or in Penebel, ask Andi, he will give you good advices and secret tips. When I would come to Bali again, I would book the bamboo house again. So thanks a lot for that amazing stay. I can really recommend the bamboo house!

The bamboo house was a great place to stay. For being an open-air house it was exceptionally clean and kept-up. We had some minor hiccups over the course of our stay, but Andi promptly sorted things out. There is a nearby waterfall that was fun to hike too and swim. The hot tub was a highlight for us as well. Great views of the surrounding area! Overall, the bamboo house is a great place to stay in central/north Bali and would for sure visit again!
