Words can't explain how fond I am of this place. It truly is a gem, and Stui, Lilis and their pets are a welcome part of the package. If you are seeking affordable, accessible accomodation for 1-2 people with scope to cook your own food and space to stretch, dip and chat in between surfing and exploring, this should be your go-to. I have stayed several times in Balian and most recently lived and worked (remotely) from here for more than a month. While admittedly I was in a pretty monastic routine, this would suit anyone wanting a good based for a few days or longer.

Great people and a great location, hidden away only a couple of minutes stroll from the beach.The rooms are comfy and cool; just the ticket when you feel the need for a little chill time after a surf or an adventure into the countryside.I also enjoyed sipping beer and chatting with the other guests by the pool...the Princess seems to attract a cool crowd. Thanks for the hospitality Stu, see you next time 🤙

Stui and Lilis have a wonderful spot just 3 mins walk from the beach. Place is spotless and their swimming pool is just gorgeous day and night!Stui is your guy! (contact) he can hook you up from where to eat to where to explore beaches/nature walks/looking for scenic roads/Taxis etc. Stui knows it all in that region. Thanks stui for taking care of us. 🙏🏽❤️

Stui's place was great! Heres what i liked about it:- CLEAN rooms with semi outdoor brightly lit bathroom. the room wasnt tiny like other reviewers claimed. The price is really reasonable for what you pay.- Stui the owner is really friendly and knows balian very well. He knows all the good places to go.- cute cuddly animals! I am allergic to animals but it wasn't an issue for me as the rooms were really clean and the animals were kept outside. The dogs slept in front of our cabin and i felt protected and extra safe at night- nice communal lounge kitchen area to prepare simple meals so you have the option- location is sooo close to the beach!- beds were clean and comfortable the cabins had high ceilings tooWould highly recommend staying here on a surf trip!! It was perfect!

Stui and Lillis make you feel very welcome - they go beyond to make your stay like at home. Organising surf lessons, bringing an umbrella when it rains to the restaurant, yoga at their place.The rooms are small but you don't need much. Thanks!

When I arrived at the place I immediately said Wow, it turns out the place is the same as in the picture. The room was clean and comfortable and Mr. Stui was kind and took us to places around Balian Beach. If I said OK and would go back to the study area. Thank you, study OK

What a spot, thanks Stu! You made us feel at home and went out of your way to make our stay memorable, lots of great suggestions on what to do, where to surf, eat, visit etc etc. Rooms super comfy, clean and coooooool! Will be back on our next trip….
