HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDTDLR: Beautiful Balinese wooden cottage with a nice and large open-air bathroom, near to many attractions in North/Central Bali. Kekut’s hospitality and pride in Balinese culture just elevates the entire countryside experience to a whole different level.Kekut’s self-built house is perfect for the nice and cool ~20°C weather in Bedugul (1.3km above sea level).It’s private, has its own fence and gate and only 2 houses in the property, each housing only 2 pax.It’s the countryside, so expect company of animals, especially roosters which can’t seem to figure out when is dawn lol. We were too tired to be bothered but you can bring earplugs if you want.All the basics are well-covered: drinking water dispenser, hot shower water, stable power, even a small kitchen if you want to do some meal prep.Breakfast was a large spread and everything was delicious and personally prepared by Kekut every morning!Many key attractions (strawberry farms, temples, waterfalls, lakes) are just maybe half an hour’s drive away.We were very lucky to be able to hire Kekut to drive us around, including airport transfer. Through him, we’ve learnt so much about Balinese culture and traditions, and now we really understand why this part of Indonesia is so unique and popular.He is also super patient and friendly and very respectful of our personal space.I hope many more tourists will get the same experience we did, because I honestly think it’ll be one of the best ones I’ll ever have in my life. Thank you Kekut, if I return to the region I will definitely return.

It has been the best experience in Bali. Gorgeous wooden houses in the middle of the most rural authentic piece of the island. Beautiful garden. Everything very clean with an astonishing bathroom. 10/10 breakfast. The best of all was the hospitality, amazing welcoming culture, very interesting conversations with his very kind owner, we had a problem with our driver and he offered to take us around inmediately. Recommend 100%.

There are two wooden cottages with a communal kitchen set in a lovely garden. Both cottages have lovely views of the surrounding countryside and mountains. The cottages were very clean and comfortable. The location is quite rural but this is what appealed to us. Although it didn’t take too long in the car to explore the surrounding area. Ketut, the owner, was amazing and very helpful. He suggested places to eat and drove us there when it was dark as we didn’t have a scooter. They offer western (pancakes or eggs) or a local breakfast option. Best stay we’ve had during a month in Indonesia.

We woke up at 2 o'clock in the morning due to dogs barking around (listen to the sound on the video) and it was simply impossible to sleep with this Dolby vision experience and we left at 3 o'clock at night to go home to Tabanan. As usually happens in Bali, the local owner said that this is the first time he has encountered this problem and the only thing he came up with was that he offered his guests who escaped from this night hell a DISCOUNT on their NEXT VISIT. - BRAVO ! also, in addition to the night dogs, there is construction going on next door and also behind the wall in the room that has a view (not only of the mountain) is a warehouse of building materials (which for some reason no one shows in the reviews in the photo how they take a blissful bath), and when you wash or you relieve yourself, you can clearly see how, right a meter away from you, they are unloading crushed stone - which trucks transport back and forth several times a day. In addition, right when we were taking a bath, one of the loaders relieved himself without hesitation ………

It is a lovely and beautiful place! The bathroom has a insane view! We went on a day tour with the owner,mister k, and he is so nice. He did everything for us. The breakfast was delicious. The area is nice and there are a lot of restaurants. We had a wonderful stay and will come back for sure when we visit Bali again. 100% recommend!!

One of the best places we've ever stayed. Ketut's (the owner) hospitability is soo high, that goes above any scale. Cottages are cozy, nicely arranged and even if you still need something - hairdryer, recommendation, transportation or blanket (because it can be quite cold in the evening) - will be provided upon request. Nice breakfasts (team PANCAKES 🧡), lovely surroundings. Rent a scooter and explore 🛵💯 recommended 🏡

Hospitality on highest level. I'm so happy that we found this place. We stayed full week, but could even stay for a month!If you still considering - stop - just book this place! And the houses are beatiful too with flexibility of breakfast time!Ketut thank you so much ❤️

Amazing place! The area is very peaceful, only 2 houses, very cozy.I immediately decided to book this place when I saw the bathroom with a mountain view! And it's incredible!The cottage itself is very cozy. There's a kitchen if you feel like cooking something. And at night, you can lie on the grass and watch the stars.The owner, Mr. K, is very nice and friendly. Breakfast is included in the room rate, which exceeded all expectations. Perfect scrambled eggs and very tasty Pisang goreng.We will definitely come back again!
