Unfortunately, our stay did not live up to expectations.Upon our arrival at Kubu Resort, the check-in process went smoothly. However, once we entered the room we had booked, disappointment began to set in. What we got was a room with a view of a wall or board. There was no beautiful natural scenery to soothe the eyes, just a wall that covered almost the entire window.I immediately contacted the receptionist to complain about this issue. They informed me that the rooms with ocean views were fully booked and there were no other rooms available for us to switch to. This was extremely disappointing since the view was one of the main reasons we chose Kubu Resort.The room we stayed in was not entirely comfortable either. Although it was clean, the atmosphere felt stuffy without an outside view to refresh the mind. It felt like being trapped in a box without windows to offer any sense of tranquility.We tried to use the most of the other facilities the resort had to offer, such as the swimming pool and restaurant. However, the disappointment of not having a scenic view from our room lingered throughout our vacation. Ultimately, we spent more time outside the room, exploring the resort area, and trying to enjoy our holiday as much as possible.Overall, our stay at Kubu Resort was quite disappointing. The rooms are quite clean, suitable for families, all the employees are friendly. But the impression was that the hotel was a bit quiet, because it was quiet so breakfast had to be in the room, in the morning the hotel had called to ask about breakfast. The advantage was that we were given free waterpark access for 2 people. Yesterday I came as a group of 3 with my children, so I was obliged to pay 120k/person to enter the waterpark. What's funny is that there is a savings package for 5 people to enter, but it's only 150k. How do you calculate this water park?
