If you want to have an authentic experience on the island of Bali, I recommend staying in this wonderful place.Sanda plantation, is located in an area that is still very much a non-tourist area and is nestled in a valley full of rice paddies, fruit trees and vanilla and coffee plantations. The tent we stayed in was simply wonderful and equipped with all the comforts... very comfortable bed and pillows, super modern coffee machine with a choice of locally grown coffees, fridge, electric sockets, yoga mats and board games such as draughts and chess which my children really enjoyed! And what can we say about the terrace and bathroom overlooking the valley... we will never forget it.We always had dinner here during our stay, the food was delicious!Too bad we only stayed 3 days, I hope to return soon to explore more of this beautiful part of the island which unlike many other areas has not been reached, and disfigured, by mass tourism.

Had a wonderful time at this little gem of a place. The owners were super friendly and helpful, even giving me tips for the next parts of my journey. I stayed in a luxurious safari style tent with the most stunning views over the lush green valley you can image at night it felt like i was literally sleeping in the forest. The owner let me use his two bird hides and shared some of his extensive knowledge om birds and photography with me.The food was copious and delicious.I would really recommend this place if you want s more authentic Bali experience in a less touristy area of the island.

We spent 2 nights in this unforgettable place. What makes Sanda Plantation so unique? On the one hand, the two hosts Mega and Toine are incredibly friendly. They welcomed us straight away and showed us the facility and our tent and also said goodbye to us very kindly. The attention to detail is clearly noticeable and we didn't miss anything in the tent (fairy lights outside, super comfortable bean bags, coffee machine, tea, fridge, games, yoga mat, reading lamps...). The views and sounds of the surrounding wildlife are very special. The delicious breakfast and dinner were served to us directly on the terrace (Mega is a great cook!) and our preferences were asked in advance (e.g. vegetarian). We went on a short hike in the area and not only were we able to marvel at the rice fields and a waterfall, but we also met friendly locals. An absolute recommendation to spend time here and really relax in nature! Jule & Markus
