This place is simple and provides a rare environment of rest and kindness.I loved my 2 nights spent there in the company of the wonderful welcome team, discussions, walks, stories, everything is there to disconnect from the tourist life of Bali to find yourself alone or with family in a super calm and peaceful place. relaxing.The rooms are very clean and perfectly equipped and the food is deliciousI highly recommend stopping by on your Bali itinerary, it’s rare to find places like this.Thanks again for everything

We stayed at Tepi Sawah Lodge, and were incredibly welcomed by Putuh and his team! This hotel surrounded by nature offers a unique experience. The walk among the rice fields was simply incredible, offering total immersion thanks to the sharing of valuable knowledge about nature and local culture made by Putuh. Thanks again to the team!

Excellent time spent with Putu and his wonderful team.I wholeheartedly recommend this place, friendly, typical and we learned lots of things about culture, as well as nature (plants, coffee, fruits, etc.)We also took a walk through the rice fields!I really recommend this place!

Most beautiful eco resort we have ever visited in Bali (since 2009!)Oasis in the jungle and between the (real) rice fields of central rural Bali.Super friendly staff and Putu was a TOP host.The freshly cooked local Balinese food was delicious and served in very generous portions.You can explore the immediate area safely and easily on foot, but Tepi Sawah Lodge also offers interesting and fun activities. Finally, you can enjoy a wonderful massage in this yin-yang resort with a view from the massage bed over the rice fields with only jungle sounds in the background. We will definitely come back. A magnificent place surrounded by rice fields and the jungle. I went there 3 months ago and I think about it regularly. Dewi, the owner, is a remarkable host, the food was fantastic (lots of local dishes to taste, fantastic!) and also the little touches that make this place a little paradise!

Lodge located in the middle of rice fields and the jungle, ideal for a nature stay in an exotic setting. The cabins are comfortable, well-equipped and charming. The jungle trek with guide Putu John was great. Putu takes great care of the residents and shows great kindness and adaptability. The cooks offer excellent and super generous meals and breakfasts. It is possible to rent a scooter on site and the staff adapts to your needs for all requests. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, which allows you to chat with the staff and learn more about Bali. The lodge has a common area which allows you to interact with other residents.

Amazing place! My stay at Tepi Sawah Lodge in Batukaru was nothing short of magical. This hidden gem tucked away in the heart of nature provided the perfect retreat spot for me. Great location surrounded by lush greenery and serene rice fields.The staff at Tepi Sawah Lodge were welcoming and made sure every aspect of my stay was taken care of.The peaceful atmosphere and the fresh mountain air provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Canggu life.I highly recommend Tepi Sawah Lodge to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat spot.

Tepi Sawah was a great reminder that I don’t need air conditioning, artificial background noise, wifi or even walls to have a good night’s sleep. Just natural light and dark, the sound of wildlife, feeling at home with good people (and maybe mosquito repellent). If you’re in need of a reset, stay here.

Tepi Sawah was easily the highlight of my 3 weeks in Bali. The location is nothing short of magical. Waking up to an orchestra of wildlife and trucking stream, surrounded by stunning nature was incredibly healing. My rom was open air and I would really reckoned this for the view and to allow yourself to be fully immersed in the environment. Putu was also one of the most beautiful souls as were all the staff at the lodge. So kind, generous nd wise- I learnt a lot about the culture and loved my day trekking and visiting temples and various sights including the amazing banyan tree! I also hd private yoga lessons with lovely Komang in the new beautiful yoga studio overlooking rice fields. Wonderful experience. Food was great and the prices so reasonable. Visit here if you can and stay long. Thank you Tepi for all the joy and healing you brought me. Kamini

You like jungle? GoodYou like the sounds of nature? GoodThe staff of Tepi Sawah will cook delicious food for you, can provide Balinese massages - all the while Putu will be the man for all questions - and sympathetically so!We felt super welcome and enjoyed every second.We had delicious breakfast, an awesome jungle trek with Putu - with so much information about nature, religion and spiritualism - and many delicious dinners!An awesome place!

It’s an Amazing place if you want to be experience the nature of Bali, fall asleep at night with the sound of insects and birds. The rooms are very very basic but clean. No AC so be prepared, it’s very humid and hot for me. I enjoyed my stays here and the food was delicious. They offer cooking classes and trekking trips at additional cost

Return to heavenIt feels like coming home to Dewi and her wonderful team. I therefore went back to end my trip through Bali with them. Showering in the open air is heavenly. The food they prepare fresh is delicious. The rooms are fantastic. And the sounds of nature are breathtakingly beautiful. Never seen such a nice, beautiful, relaxing place before! I'll be back!

The service quality is fantastic with much attention to detail. Definitely book a bungalow if you want an authentic experience in the jungle with local villages surrounding you to explore.

Very quiet, idyllic, lovingly designed complex. Dewi is an exceptionally warm and lovely host. She always had time and an open ear and spoiled us with local and special Galungan culinary delicacies.We had an open bungalow and were therefore in the middle of nature. The furnishings are simple and practical. If you love nature - including the animals and sounds that go with it - staying here is a very nice experience.

Writing this review a little too late....what can I say about this place....far away from the craziness of Seminyak and canguu is this little hidden gem in the midst of nature.... untouched and pure....if you love nature be rest assured all your worries will melt away....the rooms are minimalistic but clean and cozy....the roofless bathroom is another experience....the hostess is kind and sweet.....the food though simple and rustic is delicious.... you will wake up to the sounds of nature and the greenery around will calm even the most anxious being....just go here....and you will experience Bali in it's raw and beautiful form!!

You are in the heart of the jungle far from everything in the jungle you can be lucky enough to have in your room, the rooms are nice comfortable bed dream view, tasty meals
