We loved our stay at Yama Balian. It was a true oasis on the island & a place we’d love to keep for just us, forever. We’ve stayed at amazing places all over Bali and this one falls at the top of our list. We loved the yoga, paddle boarding, on site restaurant, clean & functional rooms and proximity to the beach. 10/10 and can’t wait to be back again soon!

My daughter's wedding took place here. The location, the environment, the interior and the staff have the highest ratings. I can't imagine a better place for such a celebration. I want to come back again and again

This was our second visit after two years and it was wonderful to return to our Balian ‘family’. Fabulous to see the awesome staff again and to see how much the garden has grown! This is definitely the best place to stay in Balian, if not Bali, it is something very special. The combination of flavorsome food, awesome staff, relaxing massages and considered organic design result in one of the best places to stay in Bali. Thank you everyone at Yama!

We have no words for how peaceful, calm and quiet Yama is. We started our honeymoon here and couldn’t be happier with our choice. The interior design and architecture of the rooms is truly impeccable, the semi-outdoor bathroom a delight. I think even nicer than the pictures.We had a balinese massage at the River Spa and it was fabulous. Breakfast at the restaurant was great. A very big special mention to the staff, extremly friendly and helping with local recommendations for beaches, sunsets and restaurants. Every single person from the reception team to the restaurant team was truly wonderful, polite, respectful and positive.The area is far from the main turist circuit, so it is a lot calmer and relaxed.

Easily one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. The rooms are just beautiful, seems like every detail has been thought of. The staff are consistently lovely. The location on the river is stunning and only three minutes walk to the beach. The restaurant has genuinely great food and only slightly more expensive than Bali generally. The included breakfast is delicious. And the yoga class and massage were both top notch. And no kids!

Truely loved our experience at Yama, they went over and above to make us feel comfortable. The rooms were beautifully designed, the food at the restaurant was nice & staff were great - overall the vibe of the hotel was so relaxing. Would not hesitate to stay here again in the future. What a beautiful, beautiful place! The staff go above and beyond to make every person’s stay something special. The rooms are gorgeous, every detail is handpicked from the abode walls to the ceramics, the soft furnishings to the hand made cacao - all made by local artisans. The location is divine, between a gorgeous river a beach and the jungle, it has it all! I can’t wait to go back.

We spent some incredible days. It shows that it is a project that is done with a lot of dedication and care. The place is spectacular, amazingly integrated into nature, perfect for spending a few quiet days. Beach very close by. Food was also really good, we tried almost all dishes and we enjoy them all.

It was a surreal and isolated location that was still connected to nature. So classy and yet so unspoilt. The staff treat you truly like family. I was in so much pain with the strangest side effects and the staff went to lengths to get cream from a pharmacy and to boil cooling drinks for me as well. So blessed to be taken care of like my mum would ❤️Definitely would recommend Yama Balian for a hospitable stay and comfortable stay.

Yama Balian is a dream come true, so much comfort, so much love in every detail, so much beauty...Its staff is warm, attentive and professional like few others, always available and friendly.The rooms are a delight of minimalist and ultra-comfortable decoration.The restaurant/cafeteria delights everyone and everything is cooked and prepared with attention and love.All the common spaces, the pool, the massage room facing the river... Everything in Yama is magical.The beach is very close and can be accessed through a small path at the entrance of the resort, where you can find the most authentic and restorative calm and serenity.I want to return to Yama again and again, and I hope to do so soon.Thank you to all the Yama Balian staff for their incredible treatment and for providing me with such a unique and comforting stay, always in my heart.
