The service was friendly and helpful, only then when we asked for a breakfast package to be packed, we were only given 1 pack even though the room had breakfast for 2 adults.

If you visit Balikpapan, maybe please consider to stay in the other Horison Hotel next to the airport. I shouldve stayed there for 3 days 2 nights but ended stayed only 1night due to the Aircon that didnt work well. I called the receptionist for help to get somebody check the aircon, one guy came and just said "wait for some time then it'll adjust to the temperature I want" and just clicked on the remote, which I dont think that helped, at all. I was freezing that night I stayed and didnt feel comfortable with it. Not even in the mood to check the other facilities like the gym and restaurant.

The rooms are okay, with an okay type and also get facilities that are equivalent to the price, for TV and AC there are no problems. There was a slight problem in the flush part of the toilet, which was quite difficult to flush, you had to wait a long time and even then it didn't clean immediately. Thank God we didn't find yellow water like other customers complained about. For snack foods such as donuts and other small cakes, it is highly recommended to try at breakfast.

Because you get a smoking room, there will automatically be a smell of smoke. As for the room itself, the curtains, pillowcases and carpet still have a lot of dirt, like stains.When I entered the room, I only got one slipper, but I asked service to send another one because I had two and I could add more, thank goodness.The swimming pool is good, two sides, for kids and adults friendly, the depth is 170 cm, the water is clean, swimming in the morning is quiet so it's comfortable, the changing room after showering is also spacious.The breakfast is quite satisfying, there are lots of menu choices, the taste is quite suitable 🙏👏😄

Just entering the room it smelled of cigarettes, the carpet was dirty, the bathroom was yellow and yellow as if it hadn't been brushed. Want to move rooms turns out it's full.The room telephone doesn't work.The room curtains were full of stains.Leaving the room and sitting in the lobby, I met guests from Jakarta with the same complaints..😭Please improve again,The cleanliness.The smell of cigarettes is strong.I immediately looked for a hotel room that night...

Towels provided after being requested. The telephone in the room and the toilet don't work. When the tap is closed it doesn't work. the blower in the toilet and room doesn't work.no shampoo. The bathtub cover wasn't there, so I couldn't soak. Shabby, moldy bathtub curtain. bed sheets + blankets are dull black.Other facilities are good. there is a long sofa. the room is spacious. the cupboard is big.

For a good location, strategically close to famous retail shops and several places to eat.Overall good service, friendly staff, 3 star standard food, lobby is also clean.What is very unfortunate is that in the room, even though the room is quite spacious, there is a lot of maintenance that needs to be done.Especially the bathroom, it is no longer suitable for 3 star class use, the water closet is leaking, the shower is rusty, and the first time you turn on the water in the bath the color is yellow (I stayed 2 nights in a different room type, but the bathroom was the same as the main problem).I also think the physical part of the building in the room is cracked (it's in the photo I included).Hopefully major maintenance will be carried out soon, because I see many groups entering this hotel.

The hotel is an old building, not very good anymore. The bathroom is dirty, especially the closet. The staff is not very friendly. The elevator often breaks down. The only added value is the location which is quite strategic.

This is the first time I've stayed at a hotel. The water for bathing has run out... 🥲🥲The room was quite clean, even though it smelled musty when you first entered... but the next day it was sprayed with air freshener and the cleaning service...As for food, it just tastes B
