The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The bed is comfortable, there is air conditioning, the room is beautiful, the furniture simple.Cleanliness is OK, consistent with the price, don't expect European standards.

We LOVED our stay here so much here. We originally booked for 5 nights and ended up staying 12!Here you’ll meet the family that run the home stay. They are beautiful people, accomodating, so down to earth, kind, helpful and caring. The room is spacious, and has what you need for a comfortable stay. The accomodation is right on the beach where you’ll find beautiful sunsets and views of the volcano - Mount Agung. The food at the home stay restaurant is incredible. Dinner consisted of fresh fish or seafood cooked on the grill and served on the beach. Couldn’t be any better. Breakfast was so delicious and included a choice of fresh juice, which we looked forward to everyday.Hannah made it very easy for us to hire a scooter and also snorkelling equipment! We’ll 100% be back to visit Wayan and his wonderful family.Thank you again for everything during our stayLove Joshua and Vanessa from Australia 🇦🇺

We are two young travelers, rather wild and absolutely not looking for great comfort but rather small budgets. We don't particularly like leaving bad reviews but we have to be honest in our feelings.Upon arriving the room already leaves a mixed feeling, in addition to being very outdated (even downright obsolete), the furniture was mostly in poor condition or broken: the toilet bowl was completely broken (and we were almost accused of having broken it ourselves when we reported it), the shower head was broken too leaving only the hose (it was changed at our request) and the bathroom light cannot turn on turn it off, it therefore remains on 24 hours a day, which constantly lets light filter into the room even at night. Speaking of light, the bedroom curtains are not opaque at all, so expect to be flooded with light as soon as the sun rises. Furthermore, the room being located right next to the kitchens, the comings and goings of warung employees or other travelers are incessant, which would not be a problem if everyone could not see us through the curtains and the noise was not heard until late at night and very early in the morning. So let's move on from the disastrous lack of privacy.Let's continue, the shower gives off a foul smell that we were able to reduce by putting the trash can on the drain. The mattresses are very (very!) uncomfortable, and you shouldn't be afraid to sleep feeling the metal springs. The more than approximate general cleanliness and the more or less clean bedding also need no further comment. The air conditioning is quite capricious (at least if you are lucky enough to have the remote control to adjust it, since we also share it with the room next door) and has probably not been cleaned for a long time given the smell. The wifi cuts out very regularly and is not very powerful but hey, it still works.Among other things, if you are not afraid of dirt, small animals, mold, stained sheets and unpleasant odors then this Homestay is for you! Despite everything, the location is ideal, the warung is very good and it is undeniably a low price.

As expected and exceeded my expectations for the price. Double private room. Private bathroom. Aircon, beachfront. Breakfast included.Family run by a beautiful family who were warm, welcoming and friendly people. Great atmosphere, right on the beach too. No pool but a swim in the warm ocean was just the best thing. If luxurious is your thing and exploring different options that Bali offers isn’t your cup of tea - you may not enjoy it as much as I did.

Great experience with this family!Quiet establishment, with breakfast (pancake, nasi goreng, fruit juice, etc.) by the beach, with it is true: no direct access. Sand has never killed anyone 😉Room: clean, spacious, well appointed with a wardrobe, bedside tables, lamp, air conditioning.Cuisine: delicious Indonesian cuisine for a reasonable price (125k for two). Excellent fresh fish!Services: Snorkeling tour, transport, Motorbike...Staff: friendly, smiling, always available, incredibly kind.Highly recommended!

Access to the homestay is from the beach, you have to walk five minutes through impossible streets and then through the sand. …

Great value for money place right on the beach with one of the best restaurants in Amed - evidenced by the fact that it's pretty much full every night. The family that run it are lovely and super-helpful for anything that you might need. Keep in mind, It is a homestay, not a resort, it's a little rustic but that adds to the charm of the place.

4 night stay. Just good value for money. There is no reception, no one welcomes you. You have to go through the beach, and enter through the restaurant to find the rooms. The room is good, but quite a few insects, the bathroom needs to be cleaned, limescale everywhere, sand everywhere, hair from former guests in the siphon. Nothing too serious, but a little more cleanliness would be nice. The value for money is still good.
