Coming slightly late to the party, but I definitely couldn't forget to recommend this stay! I spent roughly 2 weeks on and off at Komang's place last May. Having travelled all around Bali while working, this was the perfect hideout from the hustle & bustle, offering a taste of the slower, calm, and rejuvenating Balinese countryside. The place was very clean and accommodating. I simply felt right at home!However, the best part of the stay was the host! Very attentive and friendly. I loved and admired how he and his family took care of their guests—from asking about our days and whether we needed anything to blessing our motorcycles. And the green curry? Absolutely the best I've ever had! Out of all the places I stayed in Bali, I genuinely miss this one the most! 11/10, and I hope to be back soon! Sending lots of love to the whole family!

The highlight of our 3 nights stay in Sidemen. Breakfast and dinner were so tasteful and fresh, the villa is super clean and waking up in the forest was just priceless.Make sure to book their massage therapist - Komang - she’s so professional and we had the best massage in years.You can rent a scooter directly from the guesthouse, the scooter itself is very new, way better than the ones from the rental shops.It felt like home, would love to come back again next time we’re in Bali.Thank you Komang 🥹

We stayed here for three nights and it was all perfect!The family that has hosted us was lovely, they were always kind to us and really helpful in many situations.The room was really comfy and cosy, we found it full of beautiful flowers everywhere!the bathroom was outside and it was always clean with the hot shower.Outside of the room there is an open space with a table where you can have the free breakfast and also the other meals: we tried the breakfast and it was fresh and delicious!Moreover we tried the service of messages that the family offer: we ask for it and we had to wait just a few minutes for the masseuse to arrive. She did a very professional and relaxing job!We are really happy to have the opportunity to try leaving in a Balinese home!We really recommend this place to everyone!!We booked the reservation with airbnb but we didn’t know that we had to do the review in 15 days, we are really sorry for this :/Thank you for everything see you soon,Lorenzo and Gaia

Me and my partner had a short but very pleasant stay in this guesthouse. We urgently needed another accommodation late at night (due to problems with the other booking) and the host helped us immediately and even arranged a transfer for us (around 22:15). Once we arrived we were warmly welcomed with a welcome drink. The guesthouse itself was clean, spacious and in a nice location. I would recommend this accommodation! Especially if you like good service and super friendly owners.

A hidden gem in a rural area surrounded by rice fields. Komang is a wonderful host and he'll do anything to make you feel home. Oh, and if you're hungry please do not look any further! They are excellent cooks and the menu offers traditional meals freshly cooked on demand. Yep, no prep no industrial cookery. All from scratch! I had the best nasi campur I've ever had in the entire Bali and I've travelled pretty much all of it! Thank you Komang and your family for your hospitality these days! Hope to see you again!

Wonderful stay here! Hosts were super helpful and made us feel at home. After an evening exploring we got back to the house and had a bowl of rambutans on our table - a gift from the garden 😄 Beautiful, peaceful location - quote isolated so would recommend having a scooter. Food available on site. Recommend!
