We stayed two nights in this hotel for our last stop in Bali and we were delighted. The hotel is a true haven of peace facing Mount Aung and in the middle of the rice fields. The infinity pool is incredible. …

The Patal Kikian Villas are located on a slope with a beautiful view of Mount Agung opposite. We really liked the view from the communal pool of the mountain and over the valley. Our villa was as booked, clean by Balinese standards and also had a great view of Mount Agung. The hotel complex is very beautiful and well maintained.Unfortunately we didn't find the food in the restaurant good. We didn't tolerate the meat well and unfortunately vegetarian options were very rare. The service was good, although some waiters and waitresses spoke no or very little English, which severely limited communication. Positive things to note are the free floating breakfast at the communal pool and the free foot massage upon arrival at the hotel. Overall, we were satisfied with the stay and the facility.

We were lucky enough to benefit from a half bungalow with private swimming pool for two nights. A true paradise! The view of the volcano and the rice fields is breathtaking. The photos found in the different reviews underestimate the beauty of the place. The staff is attentive, the food is good.No false note.

We enjoyed dinner in the hotel's restaurant - it was very good - and the view of the volcano - but that has nothing to do with the hotel. In addition, almost all of the employees were very committed, helpful and courteous. We would like to mention Ms. Eva and Mr. Wayan Lanus by name. They both do a really great job and treated us very warmly and lovingly. We arrived around 1 p.m. and had requested an earlier check-in in advance. We were greeted, but not very friendly. The young man, named Satria, held back and gave little information about the hotel. Only when we asked did he start to give us information. He asked where we would like to eat our breakfast and offered it on our terrace. We said yes, but we didn't know at the time that our villa had no terrace at all, despite the fact that we had booked a villa WITH a terrace! After us, other guests came who wanted to check in. They were brought to their villas before us and we were still sitting in the restaurant at 2:15 p.m. waiting. Unfortunately, no one spoke to us or offered us something to drink. When we asked ourselves, things suddenly happened very quickly. When we arrived at the villa, we found neither our own pool, barbecue nor terrace, as described in the booking. There was only a view of the communal pool! RUDEInsects and dirty bed linen greeted us on our bed. After the shock, we went to the pool. The pool area has broken boards and holes in the floor - barefoot so be careful! We decided to inform the hotel that our room was not the same as the one we booked for a lot of money. We were then told that the hotel was fully booked, there was no chance of alternative accommodation and we were offered 2 cocktails. I had to laugh when I read that because I didn't feel taken seriously at all. We asked for a different room or to get our money back. Alternatively, we asked to have our dinner in the hotel restaurant, which of course was not included - everything was refused, but their mistake was admitted. We paid WAY TOO MUCH MONEY for a hotel that lures its guests with false descriptions and then lets them "starve."
