Right on the black sand beach, this is one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in my entire life. I had the tumeric and tamarind herbal tea and it was extremely tasty. But even that pales in comparison to the curry. Oh my Lord the curry. I tried the calamari and tempeh. I haven't been to India and had authentic curry so I can't compare it to that... But this was the greatest food to have ever graced my tongue. It was a little thin, but so so flavorful. I got mine extra spicy and it was just right. The view is beautiful and the sound of the water at night is peaceful and adds to the already amazing ambiance. If you ever come to AMED this is a must visit.

Wonderful hotel right on the beach.I liked almost everything, from the staff to the service. We were accommodated for 600k in a bunk room. The four poster bed is amazing. In the room: Large refrigerator, large drinking bottle with pump, towels, large wardrobe, table, large mirror, large balcony with chairs and table. (Other reviews have videos and photos) Two air conditioners. There are two beds on the second floor.Convenient separate shower area with a partition wall; water does not spill all over the bathtub, like many do.Free shampoo and gel.In the morning, while we were sleeping, they brought us a thermos of boiling water, tea and cups onto the balcony. Then we went for breakfast. It is meager (only pancakes, delicious) but you can get toast for an additional fee.One of the minuses is very high audibility through the roof. Therefore, you won’t be able to sleep until 23:00, since there is a karaoke restaurant at the top of the cliff. And another small minus: that the balcony is shared with everyone. In the morning we had an incident in which some naked man (we thought, maybe drunk) mixed up the number and tried to come to us through the balcony door.Unfortunately, the view is obscured by plants. But I would gladly return to this place with my family or company. On the beach, sun loungers cost 25k and masks with snorkels and fins cost 50k. Beautiful corals and a lot of beautiful fish. The sand itself is Pebbles. But that doesn't interfere. I advise you to wear beach slippers and swim with them.

The typical Indonesian dishes were very tasty. The service was very courteous and friendly. The terrace has a very nice view. Overall there is a very cozy atmosphere there!Although we have a habit of always trying something new, we went there twice :)

Nice place to rest near the beach. If you're a customer they don't charge for sunbeds. The food is ok. I liked the curries, but I wouldn't recommend the salads.

Asked for the pepperoni pizza and the staff kindly told us there was no pepperoni on the pizza, just vegetables. So ordered the meat lovers. And this is what we got. Was not good. Don't order the pizza

We are here for the second day in a row because we like it so much here. We became aware of the beach restaurant by chance when we were looking for a place with loungers near the underwater temple. You can use the loungers all day for free as long as you order something here. Otherwise for a small amount of money. The selection of drinks is good and the food is great! Staff super relaxed and friendly! I can only warmly recommend stopping by here. There is also snorkeling equipment here if you don't have any with you. As I said, feel free to come here, it's worth it.

Our key points from June 2024:•Cafe is excellent with great food and service and friendly staff.•Beach front location is beautiful, water is pristine, snorkelling is unforgettable. Flippers, snorkels and GoPro hire are available.•Rooms are good, including fridge, water dispensers, and mosquito nets for the beds, however there's no TV and Wifi is intermittent and slow.•Neighbouring establishment plays a live band with karaoke on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and finishes around 11pm, can be heard from the rooms.
