I had a lunar experience in this hotel! I don't recommend it at all!My taxi dropped me off at this hotel by mistake even though I had booked another one down the street. The two gentlemen present at reception explain to me that I am not in the right place but offer to stay anyway because they have room. After telling them several times that I was going to the other hotel, they insisted on cutting their price and telling me that the other hotel was less good and about 10 minutes away on foot (I am in a backpack). back). I ended up accepting the offer. I was put in a room with windows open to the street and the scooter parking lot. After 2 hours in the room I realized that it was way too noisy (I've been traveling in Indonesia for a month and a half, I'm used to noise but not like this!). I explain the situation to the oldest of the gentlemen, obviously the boss, and I ask if they can change my room. This gentleman pretends not to understand (even though I use the Indonesian translator) and looks down on me. I ask him if he can call the other gentleman the one who insisted that I stay and he tells me that he doesn't have his number that he can't call him!!! I then understand that they are making fun of me... Another guy from the staff arrives and after 15 minutes of explanations and negotiations they end up giving me back part of the money I paid them while keeping 60k RP for themselves. saying the cleaning needs to be done even though I spent 2 hours in the room! They wouldn't change my room because they are more expensive because they have air conditioning. The old gentleman, who had visibly regained his English, even insisted, telling me that no hotel offers air conditioning at the negotiated rate (250k/night). I show him the reservation for the first hotel (with air conditioning) and he tells me "no, not possible". So he continues to try to confuse me. I ended up leaving and finding the first hotel (not even 1 minute walk away), which fortunately I had not canceled, with air conditioning, and new scooter rental service on site for 70k (compared to 120k in this hotel in scammers.).I felt trapped, mocked, and disrespected for the first time since my journey began. It's a pretty good place to spend a night before heading to the Gilis Islands. The room is basic and lacks charm, it really needs to be renovated. The bed is not very comfortable and in the bathroom there is only one central drain, so after showering everything stays wet for several hours.Breakfast was good.The location is quite isolated, with no restaurants nearby. The path is dark, which can be a little worrying.

We were accommodated in a nice, clean room on the first floor, we put our things away and suddenly the owner arrived and said that we wouldn't get this room for this money and took us to the 1st floor - I would like to mention that we booked the room on booking and the staff accommodated us in it themselves. claiming that there are no more places on the 1st floor. Instead, we got a dirty room because it cannot be called a room. The walls, the curtains - everything was stained. Instead of clean bedding - a dirty blanket to cover. The water barely flowed from the shower, the towels were dirty. Tragedy! This is disrespect for the customer. If it weren't for the fact that it was night time, we certainly wouldn't have stayed there. Avoid - there are many more nice, clean places to stay on the island, where they respect their guests.

Absolutely perfect for the price. Hotel and room were completely spotless. Super friendly staff and a good breakfast. Best of all is the location, down a quiet and scenic road, 10 minutes walk from the noise of Padang bai. Nice pool and beer and water. Highly recommend.
