If you are a beginner in surfing you better look for an alternative. We arrived in the afternoon with 7 persons. Only 4 boards were ready for rent. Remaining boards were broken, incomplete or rented out. …

The road to the place is quite dark at night, unfortunately, my rented bike's front light was broken, so I had to use the flashlight on my phone instead.However, the room itself was decent; it was beachfront, and it was lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. But... the place had a bit of a smell, possibly from the stray dogs around. Also, the lighting in the room was dim and gave off a slightly eerie vibe. I was hesitant to shower there initially, but overall, it was a good deal considering the affordable price for a beachfront stay. (But yeah it was okay for a night, not recommended for long stay🥲)Finding a nearby spot for dinner was a bit challenging, but the sunrise was absolutely stunning. ☺️🌅

This place is super old Bali, not for anyone looking for a fancy or luxe spot. Directly in front of the break/wave - simple little wooden huts that are quite run down + rough on the edges. Komang is lovely, along with the rest of the team. Great spot to reconnect with nature, and come back to simple life.
