I must say that overall it was a positive experience... I must say that the cleanliness of the rooms was not the best, but the sore point was the kitchen of the structure, dishes most of the time with flavors that were not good or had gone bad. Top marks for the waiters and the people at the reception, really nice

Nice 4 person house(lumbung Bungalow) with an upper floor and balcony overlooking the poolMosquito net available, good mattress and pillows, daily cleaning and clean towelsUnfortunately, the bathroom and toilet are not located in the house but outside the bungalow, which is not very nice, especially at night or when it rains, and certainly not for people who have difficulty walking.Unfortunately, this is not mentioned in the description and I think this is important to mentionWithin walking distance of the beachNot much to do in the area within walking distance

Great place to stay for a surfing trip or if you are looking for a quiet area but close to busier Uluwatu, Excellent service, kind staff, great food with an extense and variate menu. Very recommended

We stayed there for 1 night, and we barely slept. Pillows stained with mold, we didn't even dare to lay our heads on them or get under the sheet.Dirty bathroom, a mini sink.I didn't understand the hype about this place. No ''view'', access to the beach is strewn with electrical cables and waste, at your own risk.Go your way if you are looking for an 'authentic Bali' setting

There are a few odd things with this hotel. So they don't provide hand soap with your bathroom sink. The hotel staff told me you have to go into the shower and use the shower gel! Like wtf? lol.I also think this hotel was also designed while they were building it. For it being next to Balangan beach it's not that well setup for enjoying the view over the ocean, which seems like a missed opportunity.Staff are friendly and they clean the room everyday.

When we arrived at the hotel we had 1 accident with the car in front of the hotel parking lot and since the driver did not speak English and was getting quite aggressive we decided to ask the hotel staff for help. We asked DOUGLAS (1 member of staff) if he could translate and help us. Although he was completely free, he told us that he was very busy and that he was not going to help us. We begged him again for help and he totally despised us, we received horrible treatment, even seeing me cry about the accident. We had to solve the problem ourselves. Also, on the last day our flight was delayed and we had to call an Indonesian number to make 4 flight changes. Not being able to use our cell phones, we asked DOUGLAS if we could use the hotel phone and he refused very rudely. So, even though the hotel is nice, and the food is good; Rude and insensitive staff can ruin 1 experience. If you are looking for where to stay in Uluwatu I would not recommend this hotel due to the lack of help and humanity we received from the staff, and the number of beautiful places there are around here.

We stayed 2 nights at this Hotel. We were attracted by its beauty, location and peaceful atmosphere. Far to say, although it was beautiful, the experience was not positive at all. When we arrived to the hotel my friend had a minor accident with a car in front of the hotel parking. Since the driver of the car did not speak English and was getting quite aggressive we decided to ask for help to the hotel staff. We went inside and asked DOUGLAS (name of the staff member) if he could translate for us and help us communicate with the driver in order to reach an agreement. Even though he was completely free and wondering along his desk, he told us he was too busy and was not going to help us. This sentence along with his condescending attitude really impacted our first impression of the hotel. My friend and I tried to explain to him that we were just guests trying to have some help from the local hotel staff in order to understand what the driver meant. He constantly denied us help and treated us terribly poorly even if my friend was very visibly upset and crying. We had to solve the issue by our own means. He then did not even acknowledge the issue and proceeded to mock us by asking us if we wanted welcoming drinks before our check in. Moreover, on our last day our flight was delayed and we had to call and Indonesian number to proceed with four flight changes. Since we were unable to use our phones to call and Indonesian number we asked to the reception staff if we could use the hotel phone. Some staff memebers agreed but after talking with DOUGLAS he told us that we could not. We asked if there was a way to donate simple call with their phones and he rejected us in a very rude and condescending way again. This is proof that although the hotel is pretty, general staff is nice and food was good; a single rude and terribly insensitive staff member (DOUGLAS) can ruin your experience. So if you are looking to places to stay in Uluwatu I would never recommend this hotel for the lack of help and humanity we received from the staff (DOUGLAS).
