Ah, what’s not to love about this place? I might sound exaggerated, but if you came here with the same intention as mine—seeking an authentic Balinese experience, escaping the hustle and bustle of Canggu, Seminyak, Sanur, and Kuta, and wanting to learn about how the local community truly lives—then i highly recommend visiting! Especially during the Galungan/Kuningan celebrations. The host, bu Kadek, and her son and nephew, were incredibly kind to me 🥹 We got to learn about the traditions here, especially as they prepared for Galungan/Kuningan.The room looks exactly like the photos provided. I can’t wait to come back and explore more of what Desa Taro has to offer 🥹

Probably the best place I stayed during my trip to Bali! I was welcomed like a true family member. I will never forget the service and kindness of these people! The room was perfect, with a view of the rooftops of the village of Taro. This Airbnb is ideal for someone looking for peace and quiet, away from the noise and tourists. I stayed there for a week. Our family really enjoyed our stay with Kadek and her beautiful family. They were very friendly and hospitable, and catered to our every need. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The area outside the guest rooms is so lovely, and Kadek welcomes guests to join any activity the family is doing in their home. Our children loved playing with her children :) The location is just what we wanted - an authentic rural experience, away from the hustle of the tourist areas in Bali. But still, if you want to visit those areas, they are not so far with a scooter or car. There are some great local attractions, and all the Taro village locals were so friendly to us. The breakfasts were amazing, something different and delicious every day. And they even transported us all the way to the airport when it was time for us to go. Wonderful service :) We found it hard to leave, and highly recommend others to stay there! :)

Ibu Kadek is a good host and very responsive. the room was very nice with a view around Taro village and accompanied by the natural sound of birds ❤️❤️

Comfortable, clean homestay and friendly service. The breakfast is also varied which is certainly delicious. Listening to the sounds of birds and chickens has a beautiful rural feel ❤️❤️
