Rooms were very basic but the surrounding garden was very very beautiful. The gorga style roof above our room gave a sense of staying in a traditional Batak house. There were many stairs, we had to climb to get to our rooms. Breakfast offered rather small variations but everything was delicious. There was jet ski rental in the beach front. Very convenient.

Really quaint and picturesque place to stay. We paid 745k per night for a room and whilst it has AC and a really nice hot shower.You get zero service here though. Our request for clean up, water, toilet paper all went unheard. You get 0 service. So maybe itās best if you stay here only for 1 night!Our room only had 1 powerpoint which is behind the television. š
ridiculousBreakfast was pretty good though. Definitely way better than what we had at Carolina.Overall ok, but for 745k you would expect a little bit more from your room.

Located in the north of a peninsula on the northeastern coast of Samosir Island, we can easily find the lakeside Toledo Inn.From Prapat City to this destination, there are two routes to reach this inn. One is to drive (private car or coach) onto the ferry and cross to the Tomok Pier on the other side, and then drive towards the inn by land. The other way is to cross the lake on ferry by water without car or coach driven ontoferry. If you are a group of tourists, you can charter a ferry or yacht to cross the other side.This 2 stars inn is an old inn that opened decades ago. There was a period of slow business. It may be that the inn was in disrepair and lost the favor of visitors.At present, the condition of the inn seems to have gone through some necessary painting and repairs, and I feel moderately comfortable with the inn. The mattresses and sheets are neat, clean and smell-free.Everything in the room feels generally good. Itās just that the lighting in the room was a bit dim, the furniture was a bit aged, but the bathroom has the comfort of a three-star hotel š¤.The TV didnāt have many interesting programs. I could only watch a single channel that night! Anyway, it was not bad for me to have a sweet sleep here! š¤š¤š¤The guest rooms are available in villa type and dormitory type. They are located according to the undulating terrain of the inn and the lake shoreline. Anyhow, everyone has their own needs!If you like water activities, it is not difficult to satisfy your personal desires here.We come in group of about 35, and our breakfast was a buffet breakfast, which was above average. A la carte dinner served in group menu is good anyway. Room charged all-in is affordable. For tourists who like to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the best choice.(260624/x)

Comfortable and economical hotel located directly on the shore of Lake Toba. Cash & credit card payments accepted. Some English spoken.Suitable for individual travelers or large groups, this is a large hotel with a variety of hotel-style rooms as well as a few separate cottages. Accommodations are sparse but comfortable. Beds are typically firm. No AC but none needed on Lake Toba.Lots of places for kids to run, as well as swimming in the lake or in an on-site pool. There's a cafeteria that can do catering for large groups or may provide to-order meals.

One of the oldest property in Samosir. Refurbish as i was here 8th July 2024. Absolutely Great ambiance with beautiful garden, fresh air, and anazing landscape. Friendly and helpful staff i can say. They do their best to please you. With small island to enjoy sunrise or evening time or cold weather at night. Food ... dinner amazing. But breakfast will absolutely much more to do. Good location, clean room, best view of Toba lake.

A good hotel for youngsters or family, provided the place itself has huge range of rooms and place to explore.Lake view is almost everywhere the eyes see.You can relax all day here.What to consider when bringing elderly is the access to the rooms are all using stairs and no elevators is provided.Make sure to bring less luggage or you may feel exhausted just by unloading the luggage.Free breakfast, standard ones.You can do banana boat, jetski or speed boat here.The ferry to TukTuk also come every hour.In the morning till evening, the sound of jetski can get into the room.

SCAM!!!even though I had a confirmed booking via Agoda, the staff members wanted me to pay Rp 600.000 on top when I arrived. When I refused they didnt allow me to check in. And just paid me back the money which I already had paid.I dont know how this can happen when I have a valid booking.Be careful before you book them.

We ordered three rooms for two nights, 1 Deluxe and 2 Superior Twins. Bad experience in one of the Superior Twin rooms, when you opened the room door you were immediately greeted by cockroaches, not just one but more than enough to make you nauseous. Complaints to the staff were responded to by giving Baygon spray and OK, for the first night it was safe. The second night the cockroach came again from nowhere and still brought his friends. Report it to permanent staff with the suggestion to just spray baygon. The location is quite good with a beautiful lake view, but just staying here once is enough. I'm just sharing my experience, no hatred.
