Wonderful place. It's only two rooms on a family compound, so you really feel local. It is all still very high quality though. The owners are the nicest people ever. When we went out to a temple nearby they gave us suitable clothes and an offering to bring with us. Very nice!

Spacious, very clean room. But especially the fantastic hospitality of Made and Putu makes this homestay great! When you eat with them you always get extras for free! Don't hesitate if you want to spend the night in Sidemen!

An incredibly great stay! We felt very welcome and completely comfortable. The room is a pleasant size, especially very new and modern.Our hosts were warm and helpful and we felt welcome with the entire family. Everyone had a smile for us all day.We were provided with delicious food and even breakfast was included. Towels and bed linen were clean and smelled like fresh laundry.We were also able to rent a scooter from the hosts very cheaply. The location was perfect and there are various restaurants around. You can explore everything beautifully with a scooter. We would come back at any time.

Our only regret was that we didn't book more nights with them.What an incredibly welcoming stay. The hospitality made us want to stay. The Family that stays there helped us with everything!Gave us tips and advice on what to do and what to look out for when visiting temples and doing activities, etc.We rented a full traditional outfit from them, they showed us how to tie it and then gave us an offering and two bottles of water with it when we went to visit the temple at Besakhi.Showed us how to play.se traditional instruments, the breakfast was alot more than what we expected with so many little extras served with it. Very filling.Will definitely stay here again.The room and bathroom were big, neat and well maintained.Less than 10 minute walk into Town.You can rent a scooter from them too.

Amazing !Made and Putu are incredibly kind and we left them with a few tears..Spacious, equipped and clean room.You can eat on site and the food is really excellent! No need to go to town to warung.Very good location for visiting the surrounding centers of interest.Thank you to these two hosts who prove once again that the Balinese are incredibly kind!

The room was exceptionally clean, bright and huge. All the appliances in the room and bathroom are brand new. The meals cooked by Putu were simply the best -- Made and Putu used to also run a restaurant so this is the best authentic Balinese Indonesian cooking right at the homestay. Conveniently located in Sidemen.

Superb welcome by Made, Putu, Kadek and Komang! Very friendly place, you feel at home. We eat very well because the lady, Putu, worked in restaurants before. They organize tailor-made excursions for us, respecting our wishes. Made can take you for a walk in the rice fields and explain and show you lots of interesting things. Kadek or another driver takes care of other excursions to artisans in the region, for example. The visits to weavers, temple sculptors, lontar engravers were very interesting. Kadek can speak French, which is very convenient.Made can play music with you, he's passionate, don't hesitate to talk to him about it.

Thank you all for this time spent together!Homestay with very spacious bedroom and bathroom, quiet and above all an unrivaled welcome.They threw us a party for our 9th wedding anniversary and it was perfect. Thank you for the loan of the ceremonial clothes, thank you for the meal, we will never forget what you did for our family!We felt like home, the children had really special attention and everyone was as kind as I have rarely experienced in my life.Thanks thanks thanks! We can only recommend that you go to Made and Putu. The rooms are superb (there are only 2, so it is very quiet), the bedding is very good, the bathroom very spacious, and everything is remarkably clean.The hosts, Made and Putu, are just great! Kind, helpful, they gave us unforgettable experiences. Balinese cooking class with Made and jewelry making at Putu's brother's house. Go for it with your eyes closed!

I stayed 3 nights with Made and his wife Putu, in their charming family home, a large and clean room (everything is new), a peaceful place where you feel at home. They have 2 rooms to rent.They can rent you a scooter. Made also offered me his services as driver (on a scooter) and guide by accompanying me on a trek in the middle of the Sidemen rice fields and in remote trails (not offered by the guides), then to the Gembleng waterfalls , and finally to the Pura Besakik temple.They kindly offered me some fruit when I left. They are very attentive and accommodating about everything.I had a pleasant stay, and I will stay with them again if I am in Bali another time. Sidemem was my last place visited in Bali and by far my favorite.

A wonderful stay!Warmly welcomed by Made and Putu, the rooms are large and spacious, everything was very clean. We were lucky enough to be able to play Balinese instruments with made as well as visit a rice field. And putu's cooking is wonderful. I highly recommend this accommodation, we will come back without hesitation!
