Birding Cottage Tangkoko is such a cool place if you love nature and birds. I loved having my own private bungalow... it made everything feel super relaxed. The buffet food was really delicious, and being surrounded by so many birds was amazing. One of my favorite moments was seeing a pair of birds nesting right next to the restaurant during my stay. It’s a perfect spot to chill out and enjoy the wildlife.

The accommodation provider was extremely accommodating and a great-humored guide in the national park who wasn't above having fun! His son is also a guide and gifted birdwatcher, with these skills we were able to see a lot of animals, so we could just leave the chatting for later. :) The accommodation was the best accommodation we had in all of Sulawesi, the breakfast was a dream and dinner was freshly cooked according to our wishes.The way to the beach or the entrance to the national park was a little longer on foot, but we were brought there and picked up during the tour, everything was perfectly organized.
