We really enjoyed our stay at Bunaken Lodge. Basically, there are two different homestays that are located 300m apart from each other and make up "Bunaken Lodge". Both are situated at the beach front. Especially the "Double Room with Terrace" at Ope's and Olga's house is very nice because it is situated on the second floor and has a beautiful view and a comfy hammock. Ope is a great guide and helped us a lot with organising different trips and going diving and snorkeling. Olga is a great chef and the entire family will make you feel very at home.

Excellent budget option. Convenient location with excellent views across the bay to Manado (would be spectacular at sunrise). ||||The family who run the place are delightful and very helpful. The food is also fantastic!

It’s a basic place, but the food was fantastic! Ask her to make the coconut eggplant. The rooms are warm so pray the power stays on and the fan works all night. Everyone there is wonderful. If you want an inexpensive place to stay, this is your stop. The owner has a boat, take it out with him to snorkel and see the turtles. Crazy awesome experience. We did a half day and it was more than we needed. Remember, it’s not fancy, but if it’s just a place to read, swim and have a good meal. This is your budget stay!

basic accomodation with great food, comfy hammocks and a beautiful view. the rooms are pretty warm but there is a fan. its super close to the ferry port. pano is a super nice and knowledgeable host!
