Go for it!....if you are looking for a small, chilled out resort with great value for money in a prime location. Diving enthusiasts in particular will be thrilled: Bangka, Sulawesi's North Cape, Lembeh Strait - you can reach all 3 first-class diving areas with a short journey with the resort's own diving boat. On which, by the way, there are even towels waiting for everyone. One of many details that positively sets the Pulisan Resort apart from the competition.The resort owners also provide personal guidance. Anna&Lee, enthusiastic divers themselves, don't just cater to the guests' preferences and needs.The two of them once had a common dream, which they made a reality with a lot of commitment, consistency and attention to detail. They have not lost this dedication in the years since they were founded/taken over. On the contrary: you are always striving to add more pieces to the puzzle and do not rest on what you have already achieved. As a guest you can feel this in every corner. Things just run smoothly, the atmosphere is relaxed, the bungalows are nicely furnished, spacious and clean, and the food is varied (even potatoes are served!). In short: the overall organization and implementation are top notch.You don't get too much care, but Anna is always approachable and supports you with a pleasant naturalness when you have questions or a problem arises.Non-divers won't get bored here either, there's a lot to explore: volcanoes, endemic animal species, local markets, etc. However, it's best to use every free minute in one of the hammocks right on the beach. ❤️At the end of your time out in this little piece of paradise, you won't want to leave either. 😉

This is a charming resort run by people who clearly love what they do. The accommodation, while traditional, has all the creature comforts. Meals are interesting and sufficient. The resort is well located for diving the local sites, as well as Bangka and Lembeh, and the dive service is excellent. Highly recommended.

Fantastic little resort run by a caring couple and their attentive staff who give off a very welcoming and friendly vibe.The wooden beachfront bungalows are simple but nice and comfortable with a large bathroom and terrace. There's no AC, only a fan, but the nights were cool enough with the nice sea breeze (visited in September) and I fell asleep quickly to the sound of the crashing waves.There are a number of hammocks and sun chairs along the private white sand beach, as well as a couple of lounging areas around the resort should you wish to relax, take a nap or read a book away from your bungalow.The food was good and plentiful - an alternating mix of Western and Indonesian home-cooked dishes. The meals were shared at a large communal table which is a great way to meet and interact with the other guests and the owners. Always a fan of that.The best thing about Pulisan Resort however is it's location - the dive sites on Bangka and Lembeh are only 25-45 minutes away by boat and coupled with the beautiful sites on the North Coast this gives you access to a wide variety of marine life and seascapes few other resorts can match.I was snorkeling on this trip and really enjoyed the sites we visited on Bangka and the North Coast - big healthy corals, plenty of fish, great vis and little to no currents. Snorkeling on the house reef is meant to be nice but the visibility wasn't great when I was there, the tides were too low and the wind and waves were stirring up the seabed. Not a big deal with all the awesome sites nearby.I highly recommend this place and plan to visit again. Would definitely add a couple more nights (we only had 3) and do a few dives in Lembeh the next time around.

We are a family of 5 (with Kids age 16, 14, 8) who spent 8 nights at the wonderfull Pulisan Resort back in april 2023. Anna and her team did a great job. Before we startet our trip to Indonesia and while our stay at the resort - she always helped with a smile. We enjoyed the dive boat, relaxing at the beach and a trip to Tangkoko she arranged for us!The freshly cooked food every day is delicious!One of the highlights had our 8 year old by making his first two dives and getting his ‚Bubble Maker‘ certificat.Many thanks to Anna, her family and her team ❤️
