Bastianos Froggies Lembeh Dive Resort

I contacted Rini from Bastianos via whatsapp. One of the reasons why I booked with them was because she was quick in response and I know exactly what is going to happen and she would confirm everything with me very quickly. Very good service there.When I arrived with my 2 kids (10 and 13), we were greeted by Simone. He was in charge of the diving. Knowing that my kids just finished their dive course, he gave detailed briefing to the kids. He even brought in the correct size tanks and BCD for them. He came long for the dive to ensure that the kids were taken care of and I could go deeper than 12m to search for creatures! Both Rafli and Simone were really good with spotting creatures. We saw everything on my "wish list". It was an amazing experience for both my kids and myself. The service on the boat was also perfect! Will definately go back for their dive service.They are located right in the middle of all the dive sites so going to any spot around there is just a few minutes on the boat.The reception, kitchen services were all very personalised so it was really good.The rooms are basic and clean. My only suggestion would be to change the floor mat in the toilet daily.The food is nice. I also tried their massage service which was also very nice.They have a pool. Very hidden. The kids went there in the evening. Its a nice place to hang out.

A very good quality hotel with a beautiful view of the sea. The food is very good. The rooms are clean, a small downside for the air conditioning which is not powerful enough when it is very hot in the chalets. …

We have just returned from a 9 night 10 day stay at this resort with 16 dives. A lovely resort with excellent service both in and out of the water. The dive operations were extremely efficient and our dive guide Vic was amazing. His expertise in finding critters was astounding. Over and above that he was attentive to our needs and safety eg on one dive he cut it short because he didn't like the change of current. Everywhere on the resort the staff were friendly and willing to help. The food was Indonesian and tasty - a combination of buffet when there were many guests and alla carte otherwise. A terrific massage at the end of our diving was appreciated. We were very happy with our accomodation (airconditioner, fan, small fridge, water dispenser, ensuite bathroom with good water supply, power board). Our diving (zig zag over a site) always resulted in us seeing amazing critters with the help of our guide. The water viz was limited but expected although closer the bottom always good enough for photography. We are already thinking of our return.
