The resort consists of various well-equiped bungalows, surrounded by jungle flora. We stayed a whole week in bungalow no.9, which has a beautiful view on Mount Lokon. The owner Arno, who is quickly becoming a local celebrity, is super helpful and determined to make you fall in love with the region. A great base camp to explore Tomohon and its surroundings. The convivial bar/resto also has some adorable furry companions.

We stayed at Rimba Eco Resort for 6 nights and enjoyed it very much. Everything looks beautiful, the hammock was fantastic, the staff is incredibly nice and helpful, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great! We really felt at home there!Tip: go on a day tour with Arno (the owner), he is enthusiastic, knows a lot about the area and is also very pleasant!

Really a really great hotel - both the owners and the employees provide support in all matters. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are very well thought out and very comfortable. Both the bathroom and the great terrace including a hammock and a great view were our highlights. The breakfast is also very tasty - homemade bread with avoacado or banana including egg and fresh fruit.There is also a really cool common area with lots of games and billiards.This accommodation was by far the best on our 5 week trip to Sulawesi. Nothing is missing here.Thank you very much for this great stay 😍

Very nice place a little outside the city with bungalows nestled in lush vegetation.The common area is very pleasant. Arno and his wife Angie welcomed us very warmly.There are scooters to rent on site, which is very practical. Arno was our guide for a day. It was great. He knows the region very well and sometimes took us off the beaten track (the boiling mud around Lake Tondano remains a great memory for our son, as well as the hot springs). We regret not having stayed longer. A big thank-you. Good luck to you.

The location and how the bungalows are located is great! We’ve been felt welcome and the staff is really willing to help you out on anything. It’s easy to rent a bike, and they give you great tips to do in the neighborhood. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed here for 5 days, and it was simply FANTASTIC! The location is in a beautiful natural environment on the edge of the lively center of Tomohon. A truly beautiful place, surrounded by an abundance of exotic flora and fauna. From Rimba Eco Resort you can take countless adventurous trips, such as visiting impressive volcanoes, serene lakes, healing mud baths and relaxing hot springs. Arno, the super friendly owner, personally took us on a tour and shared his extensive knowledge about the region, the fascinating rituals and the beautiful nature. The food at the resort is delicious and there are also several excellent restaurants nearby. We can't wait to come back here again!!

The accommodation is very natural and clean. The rooms are large with a nice terrace with lots of different plants around it. The host Arno and the entire staff are very friendly and helpful. Arno knows the area very well and recommended nice day tours (volcanoes, hot springs, lakes, waterfalls) to us. Scooters can be rented on site. The breakfast is very tasty with homemade bread and keeps you full for a long time. In the evening there are delicious dishes and cool drinks. Vegetarian options in the morning and evening are available.All in all, I can only recommend Rimba.

Exotic small hotel in the middle of North Sulawesi where you get a lot for your money. Here you live surrounded by jungle about 800m above sea level, which provides high humidity and slightly lower temperatures. The hotel is close to Tomohon town and offers good opportunities to go around and experience waterfalls, hot springs, local markets and shops and much more. The downside to everything being close is that there is quite a lot of noise such as music, traffic and prayer calls. The room had a bathroom with toilet and shower. No AC, but it was actually fine since it wasn't as hot.

We spent 3 very pleasant nights in this beautiful ecolodge lost in the forest. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious and blend in perfectly with this tropical environment :)Quality restaurant, attentive staff, and the boss is a sweetheart (he will not fail to ensure the quality of your stay morning and evening)Scooters available.I recommend with my eyes closed

The perfect place to cool off after a few days on the coast.Nestled on the Highlands near hot Springs and the lake this tastefully decorated cabins with huge windows are perfect to immerse yourself in nature.A very nice Dutch and Indonesian couple run the place and provide you with very good healthy food and also motorcycles are available for rent.Surely a must if you want to visit the area.

I recommend staying at this place. Cabins surrounded by nature and with large windows to admire all the beauty of the exterior from within. Clean and beautiful rooms and very good atmosphere. The owner is very nice and willing to help with everything, you can see that they have put a lot of love into creating this place. The food is very good and abundant.

Fabulous experience here.Arno and his wife Angie are so helpful.Took an amazing day tour of Highlands with Arno.Food is wonderful both for breakfast and dinner.Not to be missed in North Sulawesi.Highly recommended.

I recommend everyone to visit this place!! We had a wonderful time at Rimba Eco Resort. Arno is a great host with a lot of knowledge of the area. He speaks fluent Indonesian and has a good relationship with the locals, with mutual respect. Arno took us to interesting places in the area where few tourists visit. The rooms are clean and it is wonderfully cool in the mountains. It is completely different from the rest of the island and a unique experience that I recommend to everyone. Oh yes, there is an excellent pool table and the food is really delicious.
