Atsiri Glamping

Great place to relax. It's an old lemongrass fragrance Factory that has been rehabilitated into a resort/spa/garden. It's expensive but the service is almost concierge service with private communication about the kind of food we like, allergies, menu choice....the room go by flower names, and we choose the marigold suite, a lot of wood panels and flooring, super clean shower and toilets, and a tropical bathtub prepared with some special herbs combination . The mattress is excellent, the linen very qualitative, the aircon is cool enough, and the wifi works. We were there to celebrate an anniversary, and we chose 'a romantic dinner set" . No food options, so that was a surprise, but a good one: the table was set alone in the flower garden, near the museum, starting at 6. The lighting was very dim, so we could only guess what were the various dishes they were serving one by one. I can't name the various dishes, but it was quite sophisticated, obviously prepared by a good chef, mixing European and Asian flavours in what we call fusion cuisine, with sweet and sour tastes. Very surprising, but delicious .The ambiance was very hush-hush, the air was cool, with stars above our heads.The morning breakfast is another story. Here, no buffet. We had to decide what we wanted the day before and I went for the healthy breakfast, with pancakes and cucumber ginger smoothie, with a carrot/orange juice. The whole breakfast was manufactured the day before, as the smoothie was partly frozen. The pancakes were good, European style but cold. The juice was watery. Unfortunately, no coffee or tea. I ordered one, and had the bad surprise to discover they are actually charging for it. A breakfast without coffee, that's the first time I see that in a hotel.We had a good stay, that would have been perfect if the breakfast was served fresh (prepared in the morning) and if the coffee was included. At this level of price, that's the minimum I was expecting.

We had a great stay at Atsiri Glamping and the staff's hospitality is outstanding. Special thank you to Ka Siska, Ka Vera, Ka Wahyu, Mas Arga, Mas Iwan and 2 ladies-the workshop facilitators at Rumah Atsiri (no, they dont ask me to give them a shout out. We are simply grateful for the time and knowledge they shared) We'll return 🙇‍♀️ all the very best to Pak Paulus and his wonderful concept!

Not for the mendang mending, guys...As for the price, if you compare it with other glamping sites, there are many that are cheaper and better... that's in my opinion, even though the experience is included... like museum tours, gardens etc.. yes, even though in other glamping sites they don't sell experience packages, it's like essentials... .secondly, the place is nice, what's more, Ms Mas's service is extraordinary... we are served like queens and kings... the food is really delicious and of course the menu is healthy...Just note that the swimming pool is a bit dirty, I also saw that the buildings around the swimming pool are not in use either...so it's a bit creepy to swim there...alone too😂That is all and thank you

Stayed for 2 nights and I really Love the scent that it has as the amenities are of their signature, the 1963. Took the recharge package so it comes with b'fast, dinner, morning trekking, aromatic garden and museum tours, and I LOVE it!!! And don't miss the workshops!! Eventhough you have to pay extra for them, but they are worth the money!!! 🤩The room is great but honestly.. I don't prefer a mezanine room where I need to go down some stairs to reach the bathroom 😰 plus.. I needed to fight some ants roaming around my desk on the first night 🐜 😶‍🌫️. However, it's solved the next day once I told the host about it. Good service despite the fact that it was fully occupied (well.. it's a long weekend 🤪).The host can be reached by Whatsapp anytime so it's actually easier to contact. Wifi's available and the connection is pretty good. The staffs are quite helpful especially when they found out my flat tire 🤯. They kindly helped me to change it.Will definitely be back here to spend some time with my mom! 😍
