The staff are very kind and were extremely helpful during our stay however apart from this we were disappointed in our experience for the price paid. The location is “off the beaten track” and close to a lot of local properties unfortunately this means that behind the rooms there are roosters crowing from early hours of the morning (4am) all through until midday. Generally the rooms lacked any sort of sound proofing (we could hear the alarm of the room next to us) and the staff even left earplugs out to try to combat the noises. The rooms need to be fixed to avoid this as we didn’t get a good night sleep between 4 of us our entire stay. We also had issues with the bathrooms needing some TLC with them smelling and lack of hot water in one of our rooms. The second pool is also extremely small around 1m squares I wouldn’t class this hotel as having 2 pools.

We have mixed feelings about this hotel, the rooms are aging but practical, quite well placed for the beach and restaurants. The call to prayer is quite unpleasant at 5 a.m. (room not very well insulated). We only had 2 bottles of water for 3 days once. Positive point, very pleasant staff and nice swimming pool area.

This hotel on Gili air was so cute. The room was well prepared for our arrival and very clean tidy. The grounds were very nice and it was a short walk to the centre of “town”. We were able to hire bikes from the hotel and rode around the island. The pool area is lovely. Our breakfast served at our room was simple but delicious. I would most definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Very nice hotel! The rooms are very nice, the showers are open to the sky which is fun! A wide choice of breakfast, and a very nice swimming pool! And the staff is unparalleled in sympathy!!

This beautiful place is just 15 minutes from the harbor and 10 minutes from some of the main roads, offering a convenient yet private retreat. We were welcomed with a refreshing iced tea and by friendly staff who made our entire stay absolutely wonderful. The on-site bike rental was incredibly handy for exploring the area. The pool was lovely, and the other guests were friendly, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. We loved the design of the place,it felt very private and serene.At nighttime, the ambiance is romantic, though the constant prayers from nearby mosques might be a bit disruptive for some. Unfortunately, this, along with the strongly smelling bathroom, slightly affected our experience. Be sure to bring bug spray, as the night brings out quite a few insects. Despite these minor issues, everything else was amazing, and we enjoyed our stay.

First of all: I can't understand how you can only give this accommodation one or two stars, as some people do here! You always have to put into perspective what you are booking, namely a 3-star hotel on a small island and not a 5-star Rizz Carlton resort!That's why I would give this accommodation 4.5 stars if it were possible. I'll come to why I would deduct half a star later.Positive:- super nice outdoor area with pool- Breakfast is perfectly fine and is delivered directly to the terrace every morning and you can eat in peace- super nice staff and service (also help you with tours or bike rental)- Rooms neat and cleanNeutral:- the location is central on the island and everything can be reached within 15 minutes on foot or a few minutes by bike- the repeatedly mentioned call to prayer and rooster. Yes, both can be heard, but this is the case all over the island! If you are a light sleeper, the hotel provides earplugs. My girlfriend was even able to sleep normally without them.- Minor shortcomings in the room/bathroom. For example, since it is an open shower, there is a bit of moss growing on the tiles. But again, this is not a 5-star resort.Negative:- There is no mosquito net. We had our own with us. There are already a few mosquitoes flying around the grounds and because the bathroom door is not completely closed, some can get into the Room.

Misleading photos. Very limited hygiene, rooster behind the room howling all night. Field of call to prayer very close which wakes us up and 5G antenna above the hotel...Very pretty vegetation and a nice swimming pool.

At first glance, a quiet and bucolic place. Beautiful vegetation.However, it is surrounded by chicken coops and leaves you with the feeling of being part of the barnyard. It's the worst night of my entire stay, the rooster must not be in the right time zone and he yowls all the time. He's right behind the bungalow, so you feel like he's in the bedroom. The icing on the cake is that the call to prayer begins at 5:00 a.m. and it is so loud that my earplugs + noise-canceling headphones were unable to cover it.For those sensitive to waves, there is a huge telecommunications antenna 10 meters away.As for the room, it is functional, but aging and average cleanliness.Big disappointment, fortunately we didn't only have one night there.
