It's OK House: More Than Just Okay!A Home Away From HomeWho would have thought a place named "It's OK House" would be anything but ordinary? Well, let me tell you, this place is far from it! My stay here was nothing short of amazing.From the moment I stepped in, I felt a warm and inviting atmosphere. The house was beautifully decorated with a perfect blend of comfort and style. The rooms were spacious, clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. But it wasn't just the physical space that made my stay exceptional.The hosts were absolutely incredible! They were friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. They provided insider tips on local attractions, delicious restaurants, and hidden gems that made my trip truly unforgettable.Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or an adventurous escape, It's OK House is the perfect base. I can't recommend this place enough!

Small, but nice enough. It's close to the mosque, so you're really going to hear the call to prayer 5 times a day. You'll only notice the 5am one, as you'll be at the beach or bar most of the day. Don't worry, you get used to it quickly enough.

"Our stay at 'its ok house' (oke house) in Jan 2024 was nothing short of a disheartening ordeal. Nestled in a seemingly desolate location, the 30 minute trek from the ferry drop-off was just the beginning of our tribulations. The host, with an apparent disregard for our time, subjected us to an excruciating 4-hour delay before begrudgingly allocating our rooms. When we arrived, adding to the frustration, at 3 pm, he summarily demanded we vacate the premises for an ostensible room-cleaning endeavor, leaving us questioning the sincerity of his hospitality.The recurring power outages further tainted our experience, plunging us into darkness and accentuating the already palpable sense of discomfort. As a party of four, he provided us with 1 blanket and the host's inexplicable reluctance, even after asking several times, to provide 1 additional blankets left us in a state of unease during the cold nights to say the least.Regrettably, 'its ok house' failed to live up to even the most basic expectations, transforming what should have been a tranquil stay into a sequence of disappointments. Unfortunately, these issues significantly marred what could have been an enjoyable stay on Gili Trawangan. We hope this review serves as constructive feedback for both the management and potential guests considering ‘its ok house’ or ‘oke house’

This is a beautiful little property with every amenity that you could possibly need. The swimming pool is nice and clean. There is a small kitchen with a fridge with a bar so you can cook a few meals if you are staying for long. The washing machine was broken but the host offered to wash them for us. The bedrooms and nice and comfortable with AC. The washrooms are nice and big and the toilets have a health flush. As with every place in Bali, you need to carry your own international electrical converter.The host Joe is nice and very helpful. He will get you mangoes everyday! He also took us snorkeling the prices for which included GoPro pictures. Slightly short tempered but he could off quickly and is ready to help for everything.The location is just one street off the main road. All in all a really good stay!

We slept here for five days in march 2023. It is a nice place and the host is very kind and helpful. The bedrooms were clean and we did liked the outside bar and the swimming pool. The bathrooms were a little bit old and less well maintained. Although we knew there are cockroaches at the Gili Trawangan island, we also saw a lot of them in the bedrooms and in the bathrooms. If you look at the price/quality ratio it is a little bit expensive. The description fits well with the house: It’s OK.
