We had a great stay at Sayang Mama.Our hosts were lovely, always available to answer any questions and gave us many tips. They organized a great snorkeling tour for us. The breakfast is very good as well! The rooms are clean and confortable, and you can access the pool next door. The location is perfect if you are looking for a quiet place compared to the city center, and very close to all the best snorkeling spots. You can also rent bicycles to explore the island. Thanks again for everything, we will definitely be back next time! 🙏

The best: the price.However, don't expect luxury. The old and neglected bathroom. Breakfast is not much. The location, for my taste, is not good, since there is nothing around and at night there is no lighting on the nearby streets to get to the hotel.Also, they were doing construction to expand the hotel, which is a bit annoying.I wouldn't repeat.

A very pleasant family stay with good value for money.The family room is large, the outdoor bathroom is very pleasant. Breakfast is very good with plenty of choice.Accommodation a few minutes walk from the beach, very pleasant spot.Please note that it is a little far from the port if you come there on foot with your suitcases, prepare to walk or opt for a cart.

Just for the location and value for money I recommend this hotel.Next to the turtle beach but a little hidden away in the coconut trees to be quiet.Atypical bathroom open to the outside.Very good breakfast

It was one of the best gili air accommodations we have had for this price. the room was clean, beautiful, there was hot water, something rare on this island. There was a private terrace and a swimming pool. Breakfast is included in the price and is good and plentiful. (pancake + fruit salad + fruit juice/coffee/milk). Pleasant staff. We could fill the water bottles. Very well located, close to the beach and far from the mosque. Good wifiThe bathroom deserves better cleaning

Accommodation with good price/performance ratio just a few steps from the beach!We booked a room for one night on Gili Air. The entire complex is very well maintained.The rooms are a nice size and the bed is very comfortable. The air conditioning also works well and does its job.The bathroom is also very large and has 2 sinks. Unfortunately, the shower water is salt water, which makes it like jumping into the sea.Before checking out we got the included breakfast. This was more basic and we didn't really like it.Nevertheless, I would recommend this accommodation because of the great price/performance ratio.

Great experience at this hotel! The rooms were very clean, the service was friendly and welcoming. The chocolate banana pancakes that they serve at breakfast might also be one of the best things I've ever eaten. I would definitely recommend Sayang Mama for your trip to Gili Air.

The experience at Sayang Mama Inn was disappointing and left us feeling uneasy, especially compared to our experiences in Bali. The staff tried hard, but couldn't hide the numerous deficiencies. We were looking for peace and relaxation on Gili Island, but the incredible noise from the mosque's wailing as early as 5 a.m. further disrupted the relaxing atmosphere. Overall, the stay at the Sayang Mama Inn did not leave a positive impression.

Great stay! It is on the sunrise side of the island. The room was cleaned and spayed with mosquito repellent every day! That alone is fantastic.Breakfast is tasty! location is 30 seconds walk to the beachStaff are helpful, I had a problem with my aircon, and they fixed it straight away!Absolutely wonderful stay , highly recommend

There is air conditioning, the bathroom is unique, it is 1 km away from the beach and the pier, and it shares the swimming pool next door, which is not bad.

Great budget place to stay in Gilli air. Few minutes walk from the turtle beach and you can go snorkeling right into the water. The rooms are clean, staff is friendly and breakfast is good.

I still don’t understand why there are such high ratings. Well, if you have little travel experience, you have nothing to compare with...It looked more like something old to me. The room is just like grandma's. Carpets on the walls, some rugs. Furniture, accessories - it is clear that they are not new. The bedding is not fresh.The road ends 20 meters before the hotel. Next comes dust and dirt. When you have to drag suitcases along it, it’s not very pleasant.The most interesting thing in the room is the bathroom. The size is like the room itself, but open - only the roof on top. Stylized as a jungle.The area is well maintained. It's obvious that the guys are trying.The main advantage of the hotel is the road to the sea. The hotel is not on the first line, but there is a direct concrete road straight to the beach through a palm grove.Oh, yes, separately about the pool. It is located on the territory of a neighboring hotel. Looks nice, big. But they couldn’t get into it. The smell of bleach is a kilometer away. We wanted to swim, but while our feet were getting wet, our eyes and skin began to sting from the bleach. Creepy. So they left with nothing.

Stayed here earlier this year with our 6 months old (we didn't request an extra bed and they initiated to set it up) and honestly, the place made us feel like we're home. Super clean room in every corner, cool shower and the balcony is a vibe. All the amenities provided works properly. 4 minutes walk to the beach, far from the crowd (Gili Air is a small island anyway, it takes minutes by bike to go anywhere), the host and the entire family are super friendly, helpful, accommodating, informative, i can go on. 5 stars, recommended, we'll be back.

The surroundings are not very inviting but the kindness of the hosts makes up for this shortcoming. No swimming pool but possibility of using that of the neighboring hotel. White sand beach 80 meters away and its snorkeling spots. Beautiful rooms with very unusual bathrooms. Breakfast included and very good.
