Well, where do I begin. The place is fine, but it's really nothing that special or worth the 4-star rating, as it may be understood in the West. It's quite basic, actually, and nothing you cannot find in a lot of 2-star hotels at half the price.Yes, the room is large enough, it has an AC, it has an open air shower, probably to fight with the constant humidity and mold, and the swimming pool is ok. There are also great views of the sunset at the nearby beach.However, this place doesn't seem to be managed by anyone, there are a couple of youngsters doing random chores, but there's no room service, they don't even clean the ashtrays that are left outside, after a couple of days you may swim in empty water bottles and trash, no one will pick it up, you'll have to tell them, and that's quite a turn-off, I mean it's really a basic thing.The breakfast is quite poor and half of the time they didn't have the items we wanted. We ended up going to other places.I would not stay here again, nor would I return to the Gili Islands, I didn't feel them at all, they're so different from Bali, the people and everything, so I'd rather skip.(Oh, btw, some of the staff caught a kitten one night and placed it inside a bird cage, despite the kitten crying. I was appaled by this and challenged them, and because they laughed like some idiots pretending they don't understand my question, I ended up screaming at them. They deflected and later I've seen the kitten playing in the courtyard, but why tf would you place a kitten in a bird cage and ignore her screams is beyond me and something that is worth mentioning.)

The location is good but the staff is very inexperienced and does not speak English. The room had no hot water, no soap and the sheets and towels were not completely clean...

I do not recommend this hotel at allEven if the location is good, the rooms are a little dated, the bathroom without soap or hot water, the safe does not work, the toilet flush and the sink were constantly clogged, no cleaning service of the room as usual in Bali, the staff is nice but doesn't understand much,The full breakfast was 55k, we waited over an hour for it, we only got half and they made us pay more….Everything is very rootsy, for the price it's a bit steep but anyway the whole island is a big scam except for those who just like to party

We booked for 4 days we had a bungalow in the back, the toilet was outside often quite hot. Pool has clear warm water bit salty as all the waters on the island. Amazing beach across the road. We watched sunset everyday. There is a beach cinema nearby. Good priced hotel basic breakfast included. If you can ask for ground floor bungalows as the top ones get very hot and the Aircon doesn't cool down enough during the day.

It wouldn't have been bad either in terms of location or place, it's a shame that our bathroom and room were invaded by cockroaches, and they weren't able to change our room; they limited themselves to leaving us an anti-cockroach spray...

The photos posted in booking web and googles looks great and grand but the room is honestly eerie and creepy especially at night. The open air toilet is quite dark at night although there's light.Service is great, they counted every headcourt for booking, make sure u dont underbook. Breakfast included as per photo.

Very friendly staff, and villa is ok. One bedsheet had a big stain, breakfast was ok, only 3 options, omelet, scrambled eggs and banana pancake… but the juices are really good, pool is good as well.

The greatest offer possible on this island! Thanks to the boys who vigilantly watched over our every need, we had a wonderful Christmas here. It was as if they read our minds about what else we needed to be happy and were there immediately. I have never seen such commitment anywhere else. Thank you once again and best regards to the entire team. If I come back to Gili, I will only stay here.Beautifully, atmospherically decorated rooms. You Tube is available on TV, so when it rained we could watch any movie and listen to our favorite music. I will remember the breakfasts we were served on a beautiful beach for a long time. The beach is the most beautiful on the entire island. White sand, turquoise water and just us. Peace and quiet. I highly recommend it

My stay here was cut short and I checked out after 1 night.This property has clearly suffered from Covid and it feels like it is still trying to recover.On arrival I thought the place had been abandoned and then I had a glimmer of hope when shown to a large spacious room. This was short lived though, as problems started to surface (items either not working, broken or just not functional). One example, the bathroom is steaming hot because they have shoved old wall paintings in the window louvres (for some unsightly unknown reason) therefore there is no airflow. Who does this? The shower bracket is at waist height? Am I supposed to sit in the shower? I can only use one arm due an injury.Evan, the young on site manager tried his best to sort out my problems like the TV not working and air con cooling and was embarrassingly apologetic.When I chose to leave, he suggested I message the owner regarding a 2 night refund (which I did not get). l highlighted the issues that needed addressing but he is totally in denial and believes there is nothing wrong.I know he will dispute this as previous reviews have said they DON’T LIKE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK, but I firmly believe this property needs work to get it in shape. Until such time, it should be priced accordingly. Something the owner is not prepared to acknowledge.Ps. Perhaps don’t blame every criticism on the guest personally and don’t lie to save face! Yes you’ve been caught out. You need to learn how to address negative feedback constructively and without personal attack. Your response to my TA review (along with many others unfavorable reviews) shows a lack of empathy, understanding and accountability. Plus it makes you look downright silly!
