Actually a little bit blown away by this place. I paid just £20 per night (not expecting much) and was really pleasantly surprised by how clean and well-furnished the place was, and most of all the view of the lake... Absolutely stunning. I would have liked to have been visited by a cleaner on days 2 and 3 just to have a quick sweep round and replenish the toilet roll. Nonetheless, this is a superb place. Will be staying here again next time I'm in Samosir!

Beautiful, new and very neat rooms. A beautiful view over the lake. The service was very good both via WhatsApp and in person.

We booked this accommodation for 4 nights after reading the reviews. We arrived to check in and the staff seemed annoyed when they saw us arrive. We quickly understand that the reserved room is not available for the first night because the people before took an extra night (not initially planned, the people are sick). The manager offered to stay in another accommodation reserved for the family (more rustic) and to upgrade us for the remaining 3 nights. We accept without difficulty.The next day we repack our bags to change rooms (the upgraded one) but again the staff is annoyed, we are told that the promised room is full so we are going to go to another room (the one reserved at the base). In return we were offered to treat ourselves to a meal the next day for lunch and dinner (the manager also runs an adjoining restaurant) and to have an upgraded room on the last evening. We are a little disappointed but once again we accept without difficulty.The next day we go to the restaurant for lunch and order our meals. Afraid of another change of direction, we validate with the staff that this meal and that of this evening are free.Again... Disappointment, the uncomfortable staff leaves and comes back later telling us that only lunch will be offered in the end...In short, we understand that here every promise is empty and of course we will not have the upgraded room on the last night...Overall the room is good, spacious and new. The bedding is comfortable. The bathroom is less pleasant because the pipes leak but other than that it's OK for the price.We were especially disappointed with the relational aspect, we extended our stay on the island in another accommodation for much less money and with managers who had a smile 🙏

the place is nice, clean and the view is beautiful, the view is directly onto the lake, especially in the morning. Very recommended
