stayed here with friends, the staff is very friendly, the place is unique (there is a large table for chatting), the bathroom is half outdoor, but parking is very limited (2 cars full)

I had a great experience here. Ibu is a friendly lady who runs her business independently and she does it very well. She wanted to pick me up from the train station and drove me to lunch on my really hot entry day. She also kept me company, which I really appreciate as a solo traveler. The check in and out times were kindly flexible and adapted to my plans. The breakfast and tea were also delicious. The location of the homestay in the center of the city and only 10 minutes to the train station (Banyuwangi City) and 20 minutes to the ferry port (to Bali). Please don't be confused, the homestay used to be called something different, but it has been in operation for over 7 years and is operated by Ibu. I can only recommend the homestay.

Have stayed here twice and is like a home away from home. The staff are so friendly, Ibu goes beyond and above to make her guests stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. She helped me organise trip to Mt Ijen for best price. Also drove me around and showed me some of the local attractions and eateries for no extra charge. The breakfast was very authentic Javanese food made fresh everyday and was always so much I could never finish. The room is comfortable with cool aircon, also has western toilet. The location is very central Banyuwangi and just short walk or Go Jek to Roxy shopping centre, which has all necessities. I street is quiet and clean. Feel very safe staying here. Would highly recommend staying here for singles, couples, and or groups. Free unlimited fast wifi is a bonus. Have stayed in Homestays all around Indonesia and this would be in my top two or three. Highly recommend

Fab stay!! Ibu was a fantastic host. Taking us out for a delicious meal then out to visit the local market :) she was super friendly and interested in us which was lovely :) she helped organise an Igen tour with no trouble. She provided a delicious brekki in the morning. And even took us to the train station for our 5am train departure :) top stay!! Basic but clean comfortable rooms :)
