You can't find a more dedicated host than Tommy. This is a homestay you should not miss when coming to Banyuwangi and visiting Ijen. Price goes hand in hand with quality. Also very close to the train station.

Visiting Banyuwangi, don't forget to choose a hotel here, you will feel a different nuance. a quiet place to stay. comfortable and cool atmosphere. I booked for 3 nights at Adara Homestay, and nice service. highly recommended............

Amazing value for the price! Pros and cons below.Pros:— Beautifully decorated and clean rooms— Quiet residential neighborhood— Ijen tours offered at IDR 400K pp— Nice communal kitchen with fridge, kitchenware, tea, coffee and waterCons:— No hot water in the shower (only cool water)— Bathroom is partially outside, so there are a lot of insects (cockroaches, spiders, mosquitos and ants)

Go here if you can, you won’t regret! This place is beautiful, peaceful and just gorgeous. The room was clean and beautiful, the common areas were clean and nice. Breakfast was good and we even got ours after we came back from our IJEN trip around 11am. Thank you to Tommy and his staff!

Very nice host, very accommodating. Gave us a free shuttle from the train station as wellFree (!) breakfast offered.Before we arrived, he also informed us about the mosque next to it, so that we would hardly be able to sleep during Ramadan and that we could cancel free of charge. However, we arrived anyway because we were doing the Ijen tour anyway and so we won't be there at nightwere.There's a little bit of water coming out of the shower, but that's not a problem.

The road to get there is a bit narrow but you can enter a car, the rooms are nice and clean.

Before arrival, for some reason, other people moved in here, but in general they resolved this issue and after waiting an hour, we stopped by for room cleaningNo hot water! This was really critical, no one warned in advance that she was goneNearby there is a mosque that reads prayers at 4 am and roosters. This is why you won’t really be able to rest after the climb.They give you earplugs, but they don't help at all.
