the area is nice. this guest house is perfect if you plan to do the kawah ijen in the night. the rooms are very basic but we are not looking for comfort since we had to sleep 3 hours max.if you plan to spend the whole night here, don't book here. the mosque is very close and from 4 a.m. you will no longer sleep.the boss is super nice. you can ask him whatever you want. I even had a scooter lent to me by an employee.regarding the food is very good and really not expensive at all (25K for a mi goreng)

Beautiful location between the plants and the corn/rice fields. Extremely friendly staff. Vegan dinner and vegan breakfast could be made for me without any problem.Swimming pool was slimy on the bottom, which I wouldn't recommend. The rooms themselves were not very good, but the beds were good enough. The people are very helpful and can speak English well. The breakfast was delicious and we could also have dinner. There is a house cat Marie and she is really a sweetheart.

If you do Mount Ijen at night it's okay. But if you want to rest 2-3 days impossible…. Run awayWe took this hotel to be able to go to the swimming pool in the afternoon unfortunately given the color of the water I did not set foot there. We want to sleep but every day the first people leave around 12 a.m. - 1 a.m. towards the mountain, a lot of noise then at 3 a.m. you are at the mosque for 1h30! Not one but 3... No window and the traffic jams are useless... as if you were there. The beds are not comfortable. We also had no water in the shower for two days, problem resolved in 1h30 the first day and 15 minutes the second... too bad to have to call to be able to take a shower... no hot water during our stay...Scooter rental possible but expensive, the most expensive we have had since the start of our trip. The staff is nice though.

A kid this whole area like the plague! There is an extremely loud "wedding venue" that goes from afternoon every day until 2am. Then at 3.30am the local temple starts up. 70 decibels in your room with the door and windows and curtains shut. Ear plugs are useless against this level of noise. Maybe if you own expensive sound reducing headphones? But then you can afford a more expensive and quiet accommodation ...

Hidden gem. The location is in a rice field area. There is a swimming pool, gazebo and dining area which offers views of the rice fields. 5 minutes walking, there is also a view of the river which is still natural and lush surrounded by trees. The price is very affordable for backpackers. The recommended food at the restaurant is botok.

More or less ok for the price. Very simple, shower sometimes works pretty well and sometimes not at all. Cleanliness average, don't look too closely. In room number 6, we unfortunately always had something from the blanket on the bed, but otherwise the bed was clean. Very loud during Ramadan until late in the evening.

Got the price 169,000 via the Agoda application. It seems like this homestay is collaborating with a travel agent because there are lots of foreign tourists.+ Comfortable homestay, beautiful environment, near rice fields, lots of places to sit, there is a swimming pool.+ Get breakfast of fried rice + tea.+ Friendly service.+ Came at 11.00 with the intention of leaving the goods, but it turned out you could immediately check in.+ There is hot water in the bathroom.- Entering a small road, I was scared too, luckily at night there was lighting.- Suitable for transit. There is only a small fan, during the day it will be hot, but at midnight and dawn the room feels really cold.- Because it is near rice fields, lots of insects enter through the ventilation.- The ceiling is made of wicker, at night it's really loud, like there's an animal on top.- Even though there are several shortcomings, because the price is cheap, I still give it 5 stars.Just a suggestion, maybe there is an option for air-conditioned rooms too.

A simple yet affordable accommodation with comfortably compact rooms that don't feel cramped. The morning view is captivating, overlooking vast rice fields and the refreshing mountain air in a serene, natural setting. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful; they offered to store our food in their fridge. We were pleasantly surprised to enjoy a delicious breakfast of fried rice and warm tea at such a reasonable price. The Wooden Kamiren in Banyuwangi exceeded our expectations.
