The original name of this motel is Ijenstar. At the property itself, when I went there looking, there was no RedDoorz Samsek signage. We came on foot from Banyuwangi station at around 23.40, approaching the motel, the road in front of the motel was already gravel with no asphalt, one wheel of our suitcase was broken, the lighting was also dim. If it's a girl alone, it's going to be scary. There was no one in the reception building, it was pitch black, I had to call before I appeared. Then what was shocking, I ordered a room with AC but was given a fan only room, when I insisted on asking for a change, he simply said the room was full. Then I was only given 1 towel, even though in the booking I chose 2 people, when I protested I asked for more towels, they said there weren't any, they were all in the laundry! There's no real effort to please customers because it's cheap. The room didn't have AC, it was really hot at 32 C, there were lots of mosquitoes! There were also lots of insects on the bed, the sheets were torn. The next morning, just hurry up and get out of there at 8 in the morning, bro, I'm really nervous. I will no longer book at any RD property in the world.

We threw away the cost of lodging.I booked through Agoda, but the room was different from the photo. There is no air conditioning, the fan is broken, and there is no soundproofing at all. The problem was that there was a karaoke bar right next door that sang all night long, so I couldn't relax at all because I could hear loud singing, motorcycle noise, and train noise.I asked to change the room or get a refund because it was different from the photo I saw on Agoda, but they said all the rooms were reserved and they didn't know about refunds. The staff didn't seem sorry or made any effort to give me a refund, which left me with a bad experience in Indonesia.In the end, I didn't stay here, but I didn't get a refund for my accommodation fee and went to another accommodation.If you don't mind a hot, humid, and noisy environment, you can make a reservation. The other room didn't seem to be a temporary building. However, please be aware that when you make a reservation, you may be randomly provided with a temporary building.

arrived here in the evening around 08.00.It was very quiet, lots of trees and we couldn't find a receptionist, finally we saw someone in the cafe and we were immediately shown to our room.Thank God the room is okay for that price.got mineral water, towels & AC on.Minus the bathroom which smells like it hasn't been cleaned for a long time😊🙏🏻

I repeat, the photographs of the RedDoorz network cannot be trusted. Just don't stay here under any circumstances. When we arrived, the room was as it was after the last occupants and they offered it to us exactly as it was))) For covering there was a blanket (we didn’t use it, of course). The only advantages are maximum proximity to Banyuwangi railway station and 24-hour check-in. Well, the staff did try, although reluctantly, to find clean bedding. Among the minuses, in addition to the wildest shabbiness of the room, I would also note a large number of insects, it took a long time to sweep them out with a broom
