Booked this accommodation cause we were interested in surfing lessons! We stayed three nights, and had surfing lessons in the morning with King Kong. The accommodation itself is very simple with a bed, bathroom, and small patio. The rooms seemed a little older but sheets and towels were still clean. Still very happy with our stay and glad we got to meet the kind people who are part of Big Daddy’s Surf Camp!

Me and a friend booked a stay for 3 nights. We spontaneously extended our stay by another night. Which was no problem at all. The owner "king kong" is super friendly and does everything for his guests to make sure they have a great time there. He also managed to do this with us. What a great time we had at Big Daddy's surf camp. We had cool surf sessions, enjoyed a great atmosphere, had good conversations and the food (especially the barbecue) was excellent. King Kong also helped us plan our next trip. He has a huge amount of knowledge about Indonesia. So whatever you want to do, ask him. He gives you the best recommendations.Thank you King Kong for giving us such a great time at your camp!!!

Ended up at the Big Daddy Surfcamp because of a recommendation from a Guy we met in Bali. „You never want to leave this place“ he said. And what should i say…he was right. Kingkong (the host) is one of the nicest guys i have met in Indo. He treats his guests like family. If you have a Problem he will solve it, if you have a question he has the answere. I can‘t even explain how much he helpes us during our travels. He organized us the trip from Bali to Red Island (Java), he organised us a trip to Sukamade with EVERYTHING included so you did‘t have to worry about anything ! and many more!He knows every place in Indo and can give you the contacts for everything, Diving Course, Comodo Tour, Flores etc.If you want to extend your stay „no problem“ will be the answere, even if there is no room left he will find a way to prvide you accommodation within a few meters distance!Can‘t thank you enough!And the people you will meet there will turn into friends!See you soon!

I haven't lived there, but I met the owner King Kong, super friendly, he offers good advice for choosing a board depending on the level of surfing. He organizes tours to G-land at affordable prices. Hadn't I booked somewhere else, I would have been living here.

Found this place through google review and got no expectation cos this is my (and my friend)'s first trip in Banyuwangi. Rp 200.000 [$6.07] per night so it was a big deal, hope for nothing. But I was wrong.The place is quiet comfort, private bathroom with towel but no amenities, and aircon. The owner (Pak Agus] was very friendly and treat us like family-friends so we felt really comfortable. There was no smoking area but you can smoke in front of the room [there were two chairs and one small table]. Also, there was free water refill, coffee, tea and sugar] Not too much pictures to share cos we really enjoy the moment.Super recommended. Will be back again someday. [Also its just 5 mins from the beach]

I spent 3 weeks at Kong and I would come back. The rooms are clean, equipped with shower, toilet, A/C, Wifi.Kong is attentive and can help us with any requests, the food nearby is good, it feels like home.For surfing it's a great place you can take private lessons, board rental is cheap and there are all kinds of boards for all levels. The spot works very well, I was able to surf every day in all conditions. We also made several day trips to Tiger track accompanied by big daddy’s.I had good knowledge of surfing and thanks to my 3 weeks here I clearly took an extra level. The spot is not overcrowded, the water premises are all super nice.I recommend this place to everyone, family, couple, back packer, short or long stay.I'm going to miss this place.See you soon Kong!

Great place near the beach, not too crowded. The warungs around are very good. The super nice surf teachers. The manager is a really cool guy. Great if you want to surf in South Java.

The right choice for staying here, this was my first time going to Banyuwamgi and immediately wanted to go to Red Island and find Big Daddy Surf, the price of which was very affordable compared to other lodgings.From the accommodation, go a little straight and you can find a beach that can be used for sunset or sunrise or just hanging out on the beach.The rooms are okay, the staff is very friendly and very friendly. Thank you, Mas Agus (the owner) and other staff. If you come back to Banyuwangi, you will definitely stay at Big Daddys again! Anyway, the best🤌

Great place to stay with friendly service, clean room, ac and a comfy bed.
Across from the beach and close to the surf break and restaurants.
Also a good brekky with toasted sandwich, fruit and tea or coffee for 22k.
You can use the kitchen so i could make a coffee before my early morning surfs 👌👌👌
