The room is appropriate for the price, the host is very nice.The tour is cheaper than anywhere else, 300k on a weekday and 350k on the weekend. Tour guide sugy took good care of us and was always very friendly and funny.Definitely recommended.

The host is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the accommodation is a bit run down and the bed was very squeaky. The kitchen is dirty. We had a mouse in the room and my partner has a small spot of bed bugs on his arm, but nothing serious.The host organized a cheap trip to Probolinggo for us, all in all a great place to stay

The host is nice and helpful. You can book cheap tours to Ijen there. The accommodation is quite run down and dirty. Unfortunately, when we left for the tour, we found bed bugs in our room :(. We then left one night early straight after the tour and only had to pay for one. The owner apologized, which seemed to us in our opinion but not particularly surprised. All in all, a very unpleasant stay for us, despite the nice tour.

We arrived at the guesthouse after a fairly busy day with the awareness of what we could expect considering the price paid. Unfortunately the reality was worse: room full of dust, indecent bathroom, dirty, encrusted and full of hair. The owner was kind by offering to prepare another room but the cleanliness did not improve. We preferred to leave. The owner is certainly kind, the tours are certainly valid but the structure itself does not deserve more than 1 star.

Itβs really cheap so donβt expect anything fancy but it does the job for one or two nights. Kitchen and bathroom definitely need a deep cleaning. Breakfast included is quite average. Hosts are really nice and helpful though, also itβs close to everything and relatively quiet at night time.

Really helpful staff and well organized Ijen Tour which you can book through the accommodation. They also provide a lot of information about thr tours. There is free coffee and tea in the kitchen available.

Good location. The owner organised the trip to Ijen and we got picked up at 00:15. Everything was well organised and Ijem for sunrise is totally worth it. We also received breakfast when we came back around 9am which was great!!

It was an ok homestay. The bed was clean and the place was quiet. The homestay overall definitely needed a clean. The toilet in the room was pretty grimy. It had a bad smell and I saw cockroaches more than once. The room itself also had cobwebs. I feel like there is so much potential here if the place was just cleaned! There is also a kitchen which again definitely needed a clean. The reason I give 4 and not 3 is purely because of how nice the hosts were. They were so friendly and welcoming. For a cheap price a clean bed, water refill and toilet paper is not bad. I just wish they knew their potential! Accommodation is also βΏοΈ wheelchair accessible.

The owners are lovely and very friendly.This homestay has a lot of potential, it is a nice place with a lot of communal space (and a kitchen). It is in a good location and is great for those who are visiting Ijen.I would rate the room a 2.5/5 as it is very small and cramped with luggage for 2 people, the bathroom had massive cockroaches everyday and a very bad smell. The toilet didnβt flush properly either. With some basic renovations this place would easily be a 5/5.No issues other than mentioned above. I give a 4/5 as the staff were very kind, breakfast was included and a quiet stay.

Nothing to say about the really great welcome, we had a room but as we made the climb we barely slept but the street seemed calm. The organization of the climb is really great, I recommend it!

I just stayed at this place, the facilities are according to the price, of course, and I chose a dormitory room because it was only for one night before going on a tour, the staff also had friendly communication, but I felt the staff prioritized foreign tourists over local/Indonesian visitors .Indeed, I arrived very far from check-in time, namely the set time of 7 am, and to confirm whether I could check in earlier, the information was that I couldn't, even if I could, I would incur an additional fee, for the reason that I couldn't check in early because I was afraid of disturbing guests who were still sleeping (if not pay the extra fee maybe it won't bother other guests), the information is that the guest is a foreigner, so I had to wait in the living room until 12 o'clock before I could check in even though I expected to be able to lie down straight away after sitting for hours on the train, after entering the room there was actually 1 foreign girl But at dawn there are foreigners who can come in at 3 and immediately lie down, and then at 6 o'clock there are two more female foreigners, of course there will definitely be noise from suitcases or them talking, but yes, I'm aware that it's also called a sharing room, there's a risk of other guests going in and out. /chat/clean up things. I was a little annoyed when I remembered that yesterday I had to wait several hours to be able to check in, but maybe that policy is only for local guests or tourists who pay more π, I immediately compared when I was on holiday in Thailand with a dormitory room too but I got different service to that in Indonesia.and the information was that I would get breakfast, but at 7 o'clock I woke up and didn't know where the staff were until I was picked up by a travel tour. maybe the breakfast time also follows the wake-up time for foreigners.
