We contacted the property directly after reading the excellent reviews. Marco was immediately very kind and helpful. The location is perfect for traveling both to the town and to the beaches. Marco will be able to advise you what to do every day. The rooms are spacious and fragrant. We fell in love with Karimunjawa and the credit also goes to Marco and his staff who welcomed and pampered us during our stay.

We stayed for 2 nights in the family room at Ayu Hotel. It was clean and spacious, the AC was cool, situated in a lush garden setting, with a nice outdoor shower with reliable warm water giving you a good feeling of nature.What's more impeccable was the service. Marco (one of the owners) was there every day since our arrival to respond to all our needs. Her wife was also there and always on standby on WhatsApp.I brought along my grandma who had to stay indoor for half a day. Marco helped us arrange both breakfast and lunch for her down to the room so she didn't have to climb the stairs.On the last day, one of us left his jacket in the room and only realized when we already boarded our ship, 7 minutes before our departure time. Marco got it from our room and rushed it to the pier with his scooter, Mission Impossible style! He's truly THE BEST. Best hospitality at this hotel!

Excellent location, a short walk from the centre. Hotel managed by Marco and Eryl, both very helpful and attentive to the customer's needs and desires. If you come to Karimunjawa you cannot stay anywhere else. Thanks for everything to Marco and Eryl from Ivan and Michela

Great hotel. Close to the center of Karimunjawa because of its strategic location. The service is very good, the place is clean, aesthetic, comfortable and cheap. Suitable for a honeymoon. A staple favorite, hopefully next time I can go back to Karimunjawa... because it's really that addictive.

We stayed at Ayu Hotel for over 10 days and we liked it a lot. The room is clean and comfortable,the bathroom is open air (javanese style) and always clean. It is located a few minutes from restaurants and shops, it is a relaxed and quiet place and we felt like being at home! Marco and Eryl are always ready to help with a big smile.They helped us to organize 2 amazing trips in the islands and in the jungle. Breakfast is great too!I recommend you to stay here if you want comfort, quietness in a friendly environment!!
