Staying at Village Homestay doesn’t feel like staying in a hotel but with friends. Exceptionally warm welcome! Driving down from Laos back to Bangkok there are mostly anonymous hotels along the highway. If you are looking for something different, this rustic Village Homestay will give you a fantastic taste of rural Thailand. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality!

I had the chance to spend 5 weeks in this accommodation, and I can only highly recommend it. The owners are exemplary kindness and discretion. I particularly appreciated the calm of the establishment and the breathtaking view from our studio of the pink lotus pond. Renting bikes to ride around the lake was a real pleasure, and the home-cooked meals were simply delicious. The small chalets and houses are nestled among fruit trees, creating a relaxing and very quiet place. The establishment is perfect for solo travelers, couples or families. With several rooms available, it is suitable for all types of stays. The Red Lotus Lake is still considered an insider tip. The Village Homestay with the owners Khun Orn and Khun Aod is also an insider tip.We were there for two days and are thrilled with the hospitality and ambience of this homestay.The studios and rooms are cozy, lovingly and creatively furnished. You feel like you're at home.In the kitchen, Khun Orn cooks a very good Thai meal and you eat in the same room as your hosts at the dining table.Everything is very tasty. In the garden there is also a small pond with red water lilies where you can sit and enjoy nature and good air.We got a big boat reserved for the next day and we were driven straight to the pier at 6am. We then took the boat to the water lilies. The lake is then already red, but not from water lilies, but from the rising sun.This sunrise with the water lilies in the foreground is something very sublime.The Village Homestay is a wonderful place to prepare for this experience. It would be a shame to ignore either of them.

She also cooks fantastically, creatively and with love and serves the food attractively decorated.There are 2 nice cozy independent studios and 3 rooms in the main building. All are lovingly furnished and very clean. You can sit by the small water lily pond and enjoy the good air and the beautiful view with a cup of coffeeFrom here it is just a few minutes by car to the untouristy Ban Chiang Wae Pier for a boat trip on Red Lotus Lake.It would be nice if you could enjoy the lake in a paddle boat without any engine noise. A trip in the cool evening hours when the flowers open again could also be very romantic.I spoke to village people who have never been to the middle of the lake because the boat trip is too expensive: The officials should think about creating one day in the year, where the village people can take a boat free of charge.

Family and friends went to offer Kathin at Chiang Wae. Had the opportunity to stay at Village Home, clean accommodations, very well decorated rooms. Very quiet, Nong On takes good care of the customers very well.Be friendly make you feel warmThe friends who came with us really liked Nong Orn, she's cute. We'll have the opportunity to stay again.

small homestay The decorations are very warm and cute. There are only 3-4 rooms available. The room you stay in will be next to the lotus pond. As soon as I opened the window, I saw a view of the pool. Plus, the owner provided very good service. Before reaching the room, I turned on the air conditioner and waited. There was orange juice prepared to put in the refrigerator. I'll find an opportunity to come back and stay.

We stopped for the night and liked this place so much that we decided to stay another night. We had such a good rest in body and soul. The owners are very friendly and hospitable people, they cooked delicious home-cooked food and served it like in the best restaurants, they do everything with love

Stayed here in April after Songkran with the intention of traveling alone. Go to the northeastern region. So I searched and found a cute homestay in Udon Thani....read the reviews and got only cute compliments...when I went to stay there myself....it was true as the reviews. The owner of the home is cute and attentive. The accommodation is clean. Open the door and go in. The fabric smells fresh...the view of the river is good for the heart every morning...the accommodation is near the lotus viewing area. We went out of season but the lotus was still beautiful... The village itself is suitable for walking in the evening to watch birds and trees. The cold weather month will come back again. I recommend it. The accommodation is worth more than the price...
