A jerk of an owner. He does not accept the booking on the booking platform and does not cancel his hotel on the platforms.

Don't be discouraged by the low rating.This hostel is quite decent (clean room, no disturbing odor), located by the main road. Right next to it is gas station and a convenient store. I had nasi Padang for dinner just across the street and it was very good. The hostel owner is friendly and super helpful. I'd recommend choosing a room with AC as it is quite warm inside the building even at night.Apparently, many online booking platforms list this hostel just under IDR 50 per night, which is 'too good to be true' (the hostel owner told that he had delisted from those platforms, but unfortunately they still show up in the search).Overall, I had a very pleasant stay.

Be careful staying here, we made a booking, via the booking.com application, it turned out that when we wanted to check in we were refused because we didn't cooperate with the owner, cash payment using the application

Got a fan room, the noise of the AC machine...hot!pollA bit far from the beach.Get breakfast + hot teaA bit far from the beach.Room/t4 sleeps but👍Not bad for the price of 15o, but the noise can't stand it, my advice is to book an AC roomBut the wooden cots are also noisy😂

Visit in mid-July 2023.Location on the side of the West Sumatra highway. On the right side if heading to Jakarta.Flanked by gas stations and restaurants.Cleanliness is quite good and the property owner is friendly.The problem was that when checking in with a Traveloka voucher hotel, the owner objected to the room rate paid via the application and asked for additional kl. 250 thousand rupiah for 2 AC rooms.It's best to book directly with the property owner to avoid problems when checking in.
