What a nice surprise! The rooms are magnificent, located in a peaceful environment in the heart of a superb garden. The staff is both very welcoming and professional. The manager is also a remarkable person who, in addition to managing his establishment, is actively involved in local life through actions in favor of education, social assistance, and the economy. He takes pleasure in interacting with customers and showing them the beauty of his region.Congratulations again for your work, and good luck to the entire Java Turtle Lodge team!

Nice hotel with new, clean rooms with air conditioning. The food in the hotel cafe is delicious. We went to the reserve on a bike (you need a mountain bike) with a discount along Kitas (you need to insist on this at the entrance): we saw a beach with turtles, deer, eagles and black monkeys (the road in the reserve is very bad, rocky). The hotel offers jeep tours of the reserve.

The hotel is very, very good. The location is perfect. Very close to the ocean with a beach where you can swim. The rooms are clean, the beds have good mattresses and high-quality, clean linens. The room has air conditioning and a cooler with hot and cold water. The shower is absolutely beyond praise! The owner will help organize a transfer from your previous hotel for a very reasonable fee. This is rare because transfer costs are usually much higher than accommodation costs.Among the shortcomings, it should be noted that the breakfast was very poor. Dinners are also not always tasty, depending on your luck.In general, I definitely recommend the hotel.

It was a long road to get to the Java Turtle Lodge but this stay was worth the trip. A big thank you to Hadi for his welcome and his help. He took great care of us, helping us organize our arrival here and a magical excursion to see the turtles. His establishment is superb and peaceful, with a green garden and the sound of the waves as a soundtrack. Thanks to Hadgi and the whole team for their smiles and their welcome.A huge thank you to Hocha and Rudi for this excursion into the jungle to discover turtles. We are not likely to forget this stay.

male employee Charged more for food than women for all 3 days. The price was not the same for a day. The important thing is that there is no price tag. Coke next to the bottle sells for 5000rp, male employees sell for 15000rp, female employees sell for 10000rp, is it wrong to press the Quran of Allah?

We spent three wonderful days at Java Turtle Lodge. The area is magnificent, especially with Green Bay Beach nearby, ideal for recharging your batteries.The accommodation is heavenly and impeccably maintained. This stay was a real interlude of calm and natural beauty. Not to mention the delicious meals prepared by our host Hadi's family.Hadi, his family and Hadji (my savior!) welcomed us with incredible kindness and attention, making our stay truly special.Accompanied by Ocha and Yuyu, we crossed the surrounding jungle to live a unique experience. We met rangers engaged in a turtle conservation program, collecting eggs and releasing baby turtles into the ocean. Participating in this program and witnessing the turtles laying eggs was a moving and unforgettable moment. Yuyu and our guide Ocha made this excursion even more enjoyable.Hadi and his entourage are wonderful.For our departure, we had a free afternoon. Indraa, the great driver who took us to Meru Betiri, with music and good humor, showed us around Red Island before dropping us off, well on time for our train.

We've had a wonderful stay at the 'Java Turtle Homestay'! We loved the quiet and peaceful atmosphere and the ever smiling helpful staff! The rooms are very comfortable and have a beautiful and large shower with hot water. A big thanks and congratulations to Ba Hadi, owner of the homestay, who made everything by himself. He makes sure every guest is feeling well and organises trips or activities according to one's wishes. We liked the visit of a local dragon fruit plantation, the production of brown sugar and of course the jungle adventure to watch and release turtles!Moreover, Ba Hadi is a very dedicated man for the local community. With the benefits of his homestay and activities, he helps orphans, provide school accessories, launches a local ambulance service, etc... We absolutely recommend Ba Hadi's Java Turtle Homestay!!

Java Turtle Homestay stay, very comfortable and strategic residence. The location is near Rajegwesi beach, the place is clean and beautiful. There are lots of places to relax with the family, there is a hamock gazebo with a very shady atmosphere even though it is close to the beach. The service was very friendly and the rooms were very clean, making us want to come back to this place again. The owner, Mas Poer, is active with the concept of empowering local communities with a very high social spirit.

If you want to experience collecting turtle eggs and releasing baby turtles back into nature, Sukamade Beach in East Java, Indonesia, is the place to visit.The beach is part of the Meru Betiri National Park, which has been running turtle conservation programs since 1972.The work done here for the environment and the future of these beautiful turtles is incredible.This experience is truly special and includes both the collection of eggs by park rangers and the release of hatchlings back into the ocean.It takes a couple of hours on four-wheel drive tracks through the jungle to reach this remote location, so staying overnight is necessary and bookings must be planned in advance.The campground is lovely and well-managed, with knowledgeable rangers who care deeply for the environment. The accommodations are basic but clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.I recommend having an Indonesian guide to arrange the 4WD and driver, ensuring a smooth journey through some breathtakingly stunning countryside.During your stay, you will hopefully have the opportunity to see the turtles laying eggs at night and release the baby turtles in the early morning, providing a memorable and impactful experience.However, remember that nature is unpredictable, and each visit may vary.The night we went, we were very lucky to see a green turtle lay 161 eggs, which we collected and took back to the nursery.The next morning, we took some baby turtles that hatched a week previously down to the beach and released them back into the water.I felt privileged to be part of this with my wife, and special thanks to our guide Sam for making this journey unforgettable.

My family and I spent 6 nights here. It is a wonderful oasis on the coast.Within a 5-minute walk you are on a deserted beach in a bay on the Indian Ocean. You can borrow a body board at the turtle lodge, but be careful: only enter the water on the right side of the bay near the fishermen. The sea here is wild.Hadi the owner is a super nice service-oriented and proud owner. He makes you feel comfortable and is super helpful. His staff is great too.Local food, good air-conditioned huts, scooter rental, and there is a taxi service.Tips: walk to the green bay or take the scooter or taxi to the beach with the red island. Of course the jungle tour is a must do.Hadi thank you for the great time and good luck with your business and help to the local community.

Mr. Poer and the staff are very friendly, the villa feels really homely, the bathroom is complete with hot water, the location is at the end of the village close to the beach and Green Bay. It is highly recommended to stay at Mr Poer's villa. And the story of Mr. Poer's struggle to build his business is very inspiring. Salute to Mr Poer 👍

The first time I came here was because of the suggestion that the turtles were being watched in Sukamade, I thought it was close, but it turned out to be far, so I had to take a jeep for 2 hours on rocky roads through forests and rivers. Departs early in the morning but it's really worth it. Sukamade Beach still requires permission from conservation officers to enter and the hotel facilitates it at a cost of 750 thousand per person. The rooms are clean, spacious, affordable, and what's special is that when you order, the fried fish is really delicious, it's really fresh from the fishermen, and Mr. Mrs. Pur, the hotel owner, is very friendly and helpful, at least it's only a stone's throw away from everywhere, but if you need peace and quiet, the right choice and what makes you surprised is that most of the guests Domestic foreign tourists and my family. Next, go back there again

A quiet place, suitable for those who want to heal as a family. Rooms are okay, service is good and very friendly.300 meters from the accommodation there is a pristine beach with white sand.Mr. Poer & Mrs. Poer are nice to chat with,Even though our family is the only one who is local.Can be used as a destination to stay during your next holiday.Many beaches south of Banyuwangi are worth visiting.
