Since the name-giving owner has passed the business has also given up its best days, but it is still ok. For 200k you get a room, without a running shower (big water sink for toilet and shower), clean sheets with a good amount of insect repellant, and three filling, although not too varying meals a day, plus some cookies, bread or fried bananas). There a numerous other options available in both villages, contrary to what other falsely claim. The owner does not speak any English, but is super friendly and helpful.To sum up: it’s ok to stay here if you know what to face or have experienced simple stays before, but there are better options available.

Its a lovely home stay. have 10 rooms in total. but no AC room. all rooms have fan only. room included with meals. highly recommended. good services. and very clean room. suits for treveller. easy access to the beach. they have a small minimarket. you can buy some beer and dink during your relax time

That's not bad. There are no other accommodation yet. The place is strategic. There is a baleo, just run down to the body/pledang.

Visited June 2012. I checked out Abel's and some other home stays in Lamalera but Abel's was by far the best. At least the floor was tiled and the walls were painted. …
